Not my t-shirt drawer but anybody who collects graphic tees/toys/comics - pretty much everybody on Skullbrain - would get a kick out of this video. I worked in a comic shop 2 decades ago and we couldn't even sell some of these shirts for maybe $10.. now a lot of them go for hundreds of bucks. I guess it must be a Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom thing.. cuz while they are super cool to look at like this, they still seem like they would be crazy ugly to wear.
So I haven't found the photo album that might have 2 or 3 t-shirt pics from my airbrushing days (I never had a camera then), but I found these pics from '93 or '94. This is the beginnings of a set of stage banners for my band. Spoiler I freehanded these in a rush for a show, but they came out ok. I don't think they were quite done at this point. These photos are terrible though. This one was finished in this photo. It got stolen right after the gig. These two are part of a 4' tall x 72' long mural I did for a street wear store I was working at in ’96 (it wrapped around the whole store); the other pics must be in the other album.
@rattanicus Mate, i love these, thanks for sharing! Your art is just like your toy collection - awesome, and colourful as fuck ...
Those banners are great @rattanicus ! Thanks for tracking them down.. do you still have your setup? Time to get some new stuff happening
Uniqlo has a Baltan shirt on their Ultraman collection that's sweet & simple. The others, not so much. Beware, though. The cut of these shirts is not for everyone and are proportionally a little wide and a little short. I get xxxl to get the length I need (6' tall). The width is closer to an xl - xxl. They have free shipping this weekend, so I snagged one of these. https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/ultram...adults=&start=1&cgid=ut-graphic-tees-ultraman
