Mine's already looooooong gone. Bought a couple of toys, but mostly I used it to pay off my credit cards - that had been used to buy toys.
lol....good point. if you're getting a return, you're doing something wrong. why give the government an interest free loan??? on the flip side, paying the Govt is no fun too. I suppose i'd rather get a check back, but this year, were about even stevens....
I would suggest....save some money and buy some VISA stock. VISA will be listed in US soon. It's like a monopoly business with a great brand and a huge potential market in china. Why not spare some on the IPO
this is really true, but it would hurt me more to write out a check at the end of the year. that being said, mine is paying off a credit card. almost debt free! (and no...none of it is toy debt...paying for school expenses kicks my ass)
as much as I'd love to blow it on toys, it's time for a new bicycle. Think I'm picking up an 80's Colnago. but when my "economic boost" pack arrives, it's going straight to Japanese goodness, for sure.
Saving some in case our car dies, saving the rest for SDCC. (I'm not really used to this "saving" thing).
I can't stand writing the IRS checks, I've been down that road already. Saving money is not my strong point, seeing how I like toys and all, so this makes it easy, SDCC '06, 5 months not having to look for work and this year and iMac and some vaction loot.
I was actually planning to buy some toys with my tax return but when I got my T4's (I'm Canadian) and realized that I'll be getting back 100% of fuck-all, my hopes were dashed. Fuck it, I'm still buying toys.
pfft, at this rate it will be paying off my Best Buy account I bought a PC with. Been paying the bloody thing for 2 years, and it never seems to go down. Think twice before getting anything 'on the knock' with Best Buy, they totally stuff you on the interest rates!
