Man, watching all these color variants pass me by is most nauseatin'. Any chance of ever stocking Blobpus?
Ive managed to get 7 of them by various private means. S7 will be getting some as well. -black -murder blob -invader -toxic green -toxic yellow -toxic pink im hoping S7 gets the innocents (clear ones) Ramos has a bitchin purple one that I covet greatly.
Man, there is no way we are going to get enough blobpus to fill demand. During December and January we are getting these colors: Clear Innocent blobpus Blobpus hand puppet toxic pink blobpus toxic yellow blobpus toxic green blobpus and somewhere along the way we will get our S7 exclusive version! (50 of these!) These were made in super limited quantites, and we are not getting as many as we would have orders for, so I think the only way to fairly sell the toys will be to put them on the website with no announcement. One day a colorway will show up with no announcement. We are only getting 20 of each color, and I predict 40+ of you will want one. That will leave nothing but hurt feelings for everyone who does not get one. Some of you have been asking for blonpus for a long time, some of you are long time collectors that buy everything, some of you are new, excited and don't have a single blobpus yet. I don't know how I can choose between you all and not offend you. It is looking like a no win situation. If anyone has any better ideas I am open to listen.
That seems fair enough Brian. For sure. It's a hard spot S7 is put in to supply everyone's needs and keep as many as possible. Especially in a forever moving scene. I personlayy think you have been doing great since I popped up around here.
Maybe do a raffle where you can only enter for one version of the toy. That way you could spread the wealth further. I will be happy with any way you guys decide to sell these toys.Thanks Brian and keep up the great job.
i know this sounds pathetic but i'll really just be happy to get one! (2 or 3 is preferable of course) hell, if we don't get out preferred colors we could even trade. i should be picking up a toxic yellow real soon so i'd LOVE to get the toxic green or pink. sigh!
I was going to mention the raffle option before, but have seen some raffles go awry. All fun until the "winners" are announced it seems...then there seems a bit of resentment. But, from what I've seen, that shouldn't happen amongst the Skullbrain gang. Raffle away!!
a raffle seems like a good idea, but lets face it, it's pretty uncommon for a store to even THINK about how it's customers really want to divy things up. a raffle would be a lot of work and i don't know if it's fair to ask for that. i could be wrong...... whatever they decide will be fine with me, as long as it seems mostly fair. and i don't think we have to worry about board members hoarding, it's the people we DON"T know i'm worried about!!
I'm up for it either being an un-announced pop-up and it's a feeding frenzy or a raffle. But I can see Super 7 taking the heat in a raffle. No matter how much integrity you have someone will always cry "favoritism" when the names are posted. "Wow. Kozik got an Innocent? Gee, wonder how that happened..." And so on... But I think a limit of one person is always the way to go.
if I can get a super7 exclusive one..I promise not to come by the store and do my 'special pee dance' for a month. I lucked out and snagged the Mutant evil blob on yja this morning. I still want that clear purple one....

I think he means the one that Ramos and I scored; it is sort of a shade between clear purple and blue. Light clear purple! Also filled with some eerie, but lovely holographic tinsel.
Ok, trade me for the other 7, hehe. Seriously, this is the one I saw before all others and started drooling over at first sight. It is imbued with an alien presence.
