Can anyone please help me about vintage Kamen Rider or others tokusatsu Sofubi? I have been collecting Medicom 12" Kamen Rider for many years, after joining SB my love for kaiju or japan vintage toys has growing ever since..... I really like the vintage tokusatsu especially kamen rider that have rider mask to wear it to doll head. Can anyone help me to specified brands, size and date? Does it have bootleg or reprint? Brand? Vintage Bandai, Poppy and Uni five (not sure if it's a brand or what?) Size Standard or Giant Date? Vintage or reprint? Bootleg or reprint? Please help me out, Thanks...... -Bullmark # vintage Kamen Rider (size 10-12"?) -Uni Five (Bandai) # Reissued Kamen Rider (size 10-12"?) -Nakajima (from Super7 issue14) # Zone fighter, Rainbowman, Gatchaman, etc (size 10")
Can someone tell me who in the board who knows about vintage japan toys. Maybe I can send pm to ask. Browsed from internet but not much help.
I'm not really sure what information you need. Is there a specific one you are looking for? Bullmark made Kamen Rider vinyls with removable masks. I'm not sure about Popy. Uni Five (a division of Bandai) reissued a standard size Kamen Rider with removable mask a few years ago.
Re: Vintage Bandai/Poppy Tokusatsu: Kamer Rider, Barom etc I should pm you first COOP , been checking your collection. Great collection you have COOP. I'm interested with vintage tokusatsu/japanese super hero not only Kamen rider that have removable mask and standard size. So for Kamen Rider Series: Vintage by Bullmark Reissued by Uni Five (Bandai) Howabout Barom, Spectre man, tiger mask, lion maru etc? I know there will be long list but can give me more information about standard size tokusatsu with removable mask. Thank you so much for replying.
Well being that there are a ton of 'masked' characters in vintage, new, and re-issued...it would be very daunting to compile a list of them all. Though I would like to see that! Try searching YJP with 'mask' in the search...you'll get a lot of Tiger Mask of course, but other characters as well... Mask Sofubi: マスク ソフビ Also try with the maker, such as....Nakajima Mask Sofubi = 中島 マスク ソフビ
Bandai under their old little child logo, not Bullmark, made the vintage removable mask riders. Popy mostly made middle and mini sizes, although there are some standard size and "big" size. Uni-Five reissued the standard Bandai toys and the Popy minis in about 2000.
