3A customer service is better than most. wrong memberships cards sorted. wrong cap on Bramble sent. wrong weapons on one of the toys replaced. all proactively without having to complain.
There was a pretty big uproar over the wrong 3AA packs sent last year. Mods were yelling at people on 3a forum, and other forums. It all worked out in the end though.
Why is this thread in 'japan toys'? 3a makes great bots & figs, but Ashley Wood is Australian & his toy company is based in China.
yeah I've wondered the same thing. Maybe we need a "Way Over Due Super Hyped Chinese Made Toys Section"... tiny lawyer type... and yes my toy is WAY delayed but I haven't sold one yet nor said it would be in hands on a certain date
i had another lame "on-time" joke, but honestly, i can't be arsed to bother anymore... and don't worry adam, i'll laugh at him with you... unless he ever does a "lore" figure, then i might have to break down and buy one.
I swore off 3A Stuff, but then they got a license from Valve: http://www.tomopop.com/threea-shows-off ... 4024.phtml Now I'm conflicted. Of course, they still have like $120 of mine, and I have nothing to show for it.
i know what portal is but i haven't played it (not much into consoles anymore), so i don't see this as anything more than the standard 3A modus operandi... just give the same old toys a new paint scheme. i'm sure that it's great for some, but for me it's a snoozer.
Valve makes games primarily for PCs, they cashed in on consoles but their Steam network really changed PC gaming in terms of digital distribution.
Play Portal on a PC. It's the acme of 40 years of gaming development. And I hate how much I love this:
AP Zombs are trickling in. It was fun to read back over this thread. Anyone get a warzomb? Early word is that only buyers who ignored the three-single-limit got one.
ironic, they set the 3 per rule to control flippers, but it's the flippers that ordered more that got the rarer pieces
3A can be fun, but its annoying to collect it. I only collect WWRp and zombs and that alone has proved hard to do. hahaha. I have some Zombs on the way, I hope I dont get screwed with repeated ones.
Interestingly, I have collected 3A over 3+ years and it has been a breeze for me. Things are actually much more easy to score if collectors keep themselves up to date with the news. It's so much more easier to collect than ultra limited kaiju which mainly gets sold in the US or Japan ha! Sadly, people focus too much on the negativity nowadays (not implying to anyone here just a general statement with reference also to other boards) and din realize that really good toys are made by 3A for the price offered. I'll never forget the day I discovered 3A.
Though I am an Ash Wood fan (and have been before 3A) I do not collect these. I got the first Boiler Zomb back then but that was it. I love to see these though. But I could add on more thing - has the Portal companion cube guy ever been released?
Going through some old comics and stuff at my parents house- if anyone wants a big lot of Ashley wood stuff including popbot and other idw stuff- let me know. I even have some obscure xmen stuff and ghost rider 2099 stuff that he did. Also some horror stuff and metal gear junk. I was a nut for his art- now I have to get rid of stuff *went off to some members here on a side note- i really recommend searching for some of AW ghost rider stuff. its really weird early work from him and its nice to see his progression
