Wow, it's been quite awhile since I've posted here. Tracking down vintage figures isn't an easy task and my purchases are often followed by long dry spells. But my latest purchase is by far the highlight of my many years of collecting! I first learned of the vintage vinyl line of Godzilla figures way back in 1998 in the pages of Sean Lickenback's Guide to Godzilla Collectibles. Unfortunately, my two favorites in the line were also the hardest to get! After 15 years of searching, I finally acquired one of them, and out of the two available paint schemes, this one is by far my favorite personally! :D

Nice score JL, that first zag was the last zag I needed to complete the Ralph's std zag checklist ironically enough.

Thank you for the comments guys!

Thanks Gojigirl! I'm very glad that you stopped by my art table at G-Fest! I didn't get to wander around much in the dealer room since I was set up in artist alley, so it was great getting to talk with you! Good luck with your the Astro Mu collecting!

^ why didn't you announce your table presence in our g-fest thread? the entire chicago crew would've dropped by to say hi.

I had no idea there was a G-Fest thread here. I'm usually looking through collections and vintage vinyl threads. I should explore this site more!

    This was my table:

I had the honor of meeting Shinichi Wakasa and Tsutomu Kitagawa who signed my Godzilla 2000 sculpt:

^ the hilarious part is that i'm the one who took those photos for you  i volunteer at g-fest to run the photo line at the autograph sessions. i'm sorry it was too crowded for me to be able to compose the other folks out of your photo. so many ravenous fans :)

i even remember that you came back to get the signature written again in black sharpie because the silver didn't show up too well.

nice to have "met" you! if i had seen your table, i would have introduced myself. amazing work!
