The Neomorph in the movie is a lot more interesting than the actual Alien Xenomorph in the movie. Which is sad but this creature just had more character going for it. It probably did not help that the Xenomorph itself was drenched in very bad CGI with none scary camera work.

I love my old Aladdins, but it never occurred to me to chase the modern tin totes, as they're called now.

Thanks to my rekindled fixation on dress-up dolls, though, I've wound up with a few:

Apparently metal is the new cardboard when it comes to the packaging of 'collectables'.

All of 'em will be handy for transporting said dress-up dolls from adventure to adventure...

...and these two are actually kind of sweet. If only the brown one could blow up, huh? Best Kenner accessory ever!

The lunchless lunchbox of the now. Wow.

Whatever that secret agent one's from, that's pretty cool. Probably not the best for display, though, eh?

Oh, OK. I had the Six-Man himself, with the eye you could look through, but I'm not even sure I was even aware of that character. That briefcase does look quite neat. It actually reminds me of accessories that came with a Trigun figure I bought way back. Maybe it was ahead of it's time in that regard. This suitcase thing opened on both sides, all the little items came out of it and you could pull out the handle for rolling it around (it didn't actually roll). There were files, too! Mine were manila, not green like these are.

Pffft, as anyone worth their salt these days knows*, lunch is so passé. Lunchboxes are only good for carry things like tablets/MP3 players, oil for you longboard wheels, and those extra thick horn-rimmed non-prescription glasses. And definitely not a sewing kit to stitch up those skinny jeans when you rip them, because holes are IN.

    * yes, I realise the irony that in using this phrase I am outing myself as not one of those people. I, however, believe myself to have a grasp of actual irony, so I am okay with that.

That's funny, usually when I carry my lady-friends around in my briefcase, people for some reason always give me odd looks. I am glad to know it is just them.

Although I've adored Batman '66 for nearly all of my years, I never expected to find myself at a Pin Mate Party...

Way itty bittier than I'd pictured them in my mind, and so much the better for it! Bonkers cheap on Amazon, presently.

I fear there may be a Batmobile in my near future. The regression is nearly complete!

Well done, BBP! Now, has anybody seen Alfred? Bruce's jacket needs polishing.

Ha, you have certainly crossed over the threshold now, David. Welcome to one of the pinpeople. I do foresee vehichles and whole playsets in your future. The truly funny subtlety of Egghead is making me smile, and it is great to see the [other] '66 crew together.

But what wins it all for me is the very beloved (and I mean that with no sense of exaggeration) 'jumbo' FP. You've stirred up so many childhood memories by including that one in your photo lineup, and it's just made my day. FP toys played such an immense role in my childhood, probably as fundamental as any other line, and for that I will be forever grateful to my parents and the lucky secondhand adoptions that let it come to be.

All those briefcases, capes and tiny accessories are peaking my OCD interest but I must hold back. Thanks for posting the photos Tooth, they are lots of fun.

Starting to amass my first medieval Scandinavian kit and wanted to post a photo of the pants I just got in. Shalwar-style Eastern viking pants. Super baggy and light. Very fun. Hope to have my semi-full kit completed by King Richard's Faire this year.

To MisterYuck's credit, my guy has been in thousands of battles. I'm sure in a couple months you won't be able to tell them apart.

Not "just in", but just opened. Looking forward to having Mikey, but I wish they made him a little shorter than his brothers since he was always the runt.

This has been a damn good week for mail. Fellow SB'er sent me this amazing mug from Three Dots and a Dash out in Chi-town. And picked up a hand crafted viking seax from a local reenacting group here in NH. Support local!

@Headhunter I really enjoy it! Now granted it doesn't get nearly as much love as my Xbox One S as that system has a solid online community and an excellent line up of unending games. The Switch however is a blast with Splatoon 2 and any platformer. I've found that I really enjoy Splatoon 2 not only in TV mode but also handheld mode which is an experience for sure. I'm looking forward to more AAA titles in the future!

Wonderful buy there, Martin! I haven't ordered one myself yet, but do intend to when I can. You are right, I know - via the ever incredibly resourceful Anthony - that this compilation was indeed supervised and put together by Yuji, though not sure that every piece it covers is his own stuff, probably just curating it out of his knowledge (though it wouldn't surprise me if a good portion was, too). From what I gather the focus is entirely on non-toy Ultra products, which is of course, right up my alley and something I greatly appreciate. I just adore these photo Mooks, even if I can't read Japanese, and learn even more on the wealth of knowledge contained; this one has some interviews inside as well. Hours of enjoyment in those pages, I am sure.
