OK we need to talk about this show. Namely how fucking good it is! I watched season 1 last week, and at first I was really skeptical. I kept thinking great another show about a search for an abducted child that will have a happy ending surely.

Qucikly I realized how absolutely wrong I was to assume that. Such intense story telling and really the missing kids are just mere catalysts for some very complex twists and turns- you almost never know completely who is leading a double life or what actions will lead to utter downfall of certain characters. The use of time is incredible as often each episode spans many different time frames- years apart.

I'm though 5 episodes of season 2 which just came out and I'm completely engrossed. Season 1 was good but season 2- you literally cannot stop watching it.

It's weird because my wife and I would talk about the show a from time to time over the last year or so. We would see actors from the first season in a movie or something else and wonder when/if we'd get a second season. I watched a Danish horror movie a couple weeks ago and recognized one of the main actors and looked him up on IMDB and he played Vincent in season one. I noticed that a season 2 had been added to IMDB and figured it would be on soon. The other night I noticed that Starz was re-running season one and lo and behold S2E1 was available OnDemand. We watched it and are so glad they added all of the new season this past weekend. Getting ready to watch another episode right now.
It is a very well made series. Season one was heart-wrenching.
