...and at Amoeba Records in L.A. the week after. Is anyone going to go to the signings or the party or am I going to be a dork all by myself? Friday - Adult Swim booth Friday night - Cast DJ set at 4th & B at 11PM Saturday - BBC America booth Tuesday after - Amoeba Records By the way, if you haven't seen it, The Mighty Boosh is one of the best TV shows since Monty Python. Brilliant stuff.
Now that's ONE big reason I'd go to SDCC if I lived on the other coast! Love Mighty Boosh! Chicka chi-KAH!
HOLY HOLY HOLY MOLY!!!!! The Mighty Boosh is GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the biggest SDCC news yet!!! waaaa hoooo thanks for the intel!!!
My girlfriend and I like the Boosh a lot so we'll be checking them out at the convention at some point.
I have a love hate relationship with it. Never made it all the way through the second series, probably should go back and try. They show it on adult swim now?
I'm glad I dropped cable years ago, why can't cartoon netwerks show cartoons and music netwerks show music.
Im kind of indifferent to it- but it definitely shouldnt be mentioned in the same sentence as Monty Python. IMO- The best british comedy show of recent years is Peepshow, if you guys havnt got it over in the states yet- check it out, it is amazing.
yeah,,i am the same on the mighty boosh..indifferent..i have actually never made it through a whole episode.. i will completely agree with samba,,,peepshow is great...along with the inbetweeners & shameless... as lame as some people think he is,,russell brand's ponderland cracks me up everytime...i have had something to look forward to tv-wise on friday nights recently not sure how long it will last though... sdcc sidenote,,jonathan ross mentioned last night on alan carr's chatty man that he is on his way to sdcc...watch out for wossy!!
Didn't Ross show some Kaiju stuff on his show once? Or something damn close to it. All about the Peepshow!!! Though Mitchell and Webb is quite good, few things beat this clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SO5WoLnOOlU Actually, this is good as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LS_Uvg56U_o
Just got my tickets to this event: http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0A004 ... orcatid=32 Should be fun
Maybe Howard or the crazy ol' cockney geezer will play some slap bass! This actually makes me sad that I'm not going to SDCC. One of the best moments of my life was Meeting George Lowe (Space Ghost) and him writing goofy shit all over one of his toys.
