Oh, that makes sense. I bought plenty of keshi from him over the years, some of those were probably ones you sold to him.

I'm pretty confident I can ID any Gundam design you post.

Yup, that sounds right. Always wished that I'd pieced the sale out and kept more back. Sorry to hear that he passed, though. His son has a GoFundMe up for the funeral expenses and doesn't want any collector/estate enquiries at present. Sounds like a mess.

I'm not usually into keshi or wrestling toys, but those victory bros are pretty amazing. Who woulda thought you could make an emotional moment so tiny.

There is so much imagination and skill in some of these tiny sculpts. Pretty amazing, really.

I have almost completed a vintage Bullmark painted keshigomu Toho kaiju set, but am still missing the difficult Mechagodzilla. If you have one to pass along, please send me a message.

The vintage Bullmark keshi are found in a few different colors (red, blue, yellow, green/teal, white) though red seems to be the most common for some characters. I have only seen the Mechagodzilla in red. I thought about attempting to complete all the sets for each color, but it seems like this might be impossible. Who knows what else is yet to be discovered. There are some interesting carded painted sets on backer cards out there.

The painted toys are slightly firmer than the very rubbery common blanks which are found in bags with the excellent little Bullmark header cards in candy store boxes, although there are some blanks of the firmer keshi hiding out there but I have only found them loose/unbagged so far. See how the the blue blanks below look more shiny compared to the other colors. The blues ones are the firmer keshi blanks.

Great post Mark. Lots of good info here. I feel like these are really underappreciated for being licensed toho.

I adore keshi but I don't have the stamina to collect them so seeing a lot fo them here is helpful to curb that feeling lol. Thanks!

Hello! I'm very glad to have found some fellow keshi enjoyers :) There's so many great photos and reference pages in this thread. I hadn't seen that page of Namco keshi @The Moog shared before, and it will definitely come in handy. And thank you for linking to my "Keshi Corner" project!

I started Keshi Corner in 2022 as an initiative to preserve vintage video game toys. So far, I've preserved OVER 600 video game keshi gomu figures, all of which I make freely available to the public via the Internet Archive:
    https://archive.org/details/@keshicorner

This archive even includes many complete sets; from The Legend of Zelda, to Street Fighter II, to Super Mario World, and many more.
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

My most recently completed full set is the Super Mario Land set produced by Bandai in 1989. Many of these figures have become very rare and very expensive, so I'm thrilled to be able to make them available.

To announce this release, I even put together this little animation to celebrate!

Thanks for taking a look. :)

Glad to see you here, the Keshi Corner project is fantastic! I have a couple of pounds of SD keshi if you're ever looking for specific ones to scan.

Thank you, and thanks for the generous suggestion! I have a small number of SD Gundam I scanned before deciding I needed to keep my focus on just the video game keshi: https://archive.org/details/@keshicorner?query=gundam

If I get back to SD Gundam, I'll keep your impressive collection in mind!

Kinnikuthulu. I sold a bunch of these (by hello pike, but cast by someone else) at one of the keshi parties at the old spot in Tokyo. I should post some of the pics here. Just found this thread :)
