Thanks man. With everything going on I completely forgot it even was my birthday lol. Yeah hopefully I gained some wisdom from all this shit and can move on in a positive direction. At least my stress levels have gone down a bit. I've also received nothing but positive encouragement here and with anyone around me, which melts this grinch's heart a bit because I never knew so many people cared about my well being. We have a local donut shop with caramel bacon donuts...holy hell they are good. You feel nauseous immediately afterward, but it's worth the pain.
Lol sounds good, I was like that in Buffalo with Paula's Donuts. Limited myself to two visits a year there but fucking hell would I gorge myself on their giant cream filled donuts when i went! I'm thinking sugar my be the root cause to some skin ailments, brain fogs, and depression I deal with from time to time, so after today I'm going to try to kick sugar- at least tone it down a bit. Too late for today because well it's my b-day and we've already acquired a Wegmans Ultimate Chocolate Cake for it. I have a wicked sweet-tooth but it gets out of hand too often.
Oh yes! It's heavenly! Rich chocolately chocolate, melty oozy caramel, all enveloped in salty chewy sticky BACON! What more could you ask for? Try making the Caramel Bacon Insanity Cake. It's pretty time consuming but so worth it! Double the recipe if you do make it! If you're gonna spend all that time making the whole thing, might as well have at least two! The candied bacon roasted with brown sugar and dipped in dark chocolate will explode your mind (ignore the instructions that says to use 6 slices, prepare an entire package of thick cut apple smoked Canadian bacon -- you won't be sorry!) Salted Caramel BACON Insanity Cake http://korenainthekitchen.com/2013/05/05/chocolate-caramel-bacon-insanity-cake/ NOTE: For the cake itself, use the version that calls for the salted caramel chocolate cake http://www.marthastewart.com/857647/salted-caramel-six-layer-chocolate-cake *For extra mind-blowing flavor, for the coarse salt that's listed in the recipe, substitute some coarse fleur de sel (fancy schmancy salt crystals) into the batter after it's mixed, so it's suspended in the batter (then pour the batter into the baking pans), and not dissolved when you are in the batter mixing stage. Needless to say, don't over mix/beat the cake batter or your cake will be "tough". When you bite into the choc cake with caramel, AND your tongue hits a bit of salt, it's like fireworks! Candied bacon part.... *er... don't forget to line the pan with double foil, for easy cleaning. Baking brown sugar and bacon fan is messy business!

Thanks man. We broke up, I moved out, been a rough month. All my toys are currently in tubs in my sisters garage lol. I did just buy myself two Anraku toys as a b-day present to myself. Heading to Ikea later on for a new office chair, so I can ditch my old uncomfortable one and swirl around and look at those toys on my desk.

Aww thanks again everyone for the birthday wishes. Yeah I was like goldilocks in Ikea- but settled on the Markus swivel chair. The moment I sat in that chair and did the lean back- perfect match! Next order of business- drinks and food.
Well yeah that prediction certainly did not come true lol (cancer) but I'm hoping for my 5-0 to be cancer free and onto better living (and out of PA! I hate PA) I'm mostly responding to this because ultrakaiju who created this thread totally forgot me on October 1st and I want to guilt him lol.

Well it was my 48th year on the planet that sucked super hard. I just turned 49, but I'm hoping the big 5-0 in 2018 will be cancer free and my life on the upswing. Thank you for the well wishes though @paulk !
