A big thank you to ultrapaul for helping me get into the world of Japanese vinyl and introducing me to the SB forum...and having a awesome store in a city otherwise void of sweet vinyl goodness!

And big thanks to Super7 all the great SBers who have helped me start my collection: CannibalKaiju, scud80, kichigai, Aldo, Mutonismyfriend, guf, damaged Bryan, anyone I may have forgotten!

A huge Thank You to the two 911 operators that helped me keep my head when I broke my leg back in May. Their calm demeanor, even though I was screaming my bloody head off using every profanity in the book, really helped me to not lose it even more than I already had. I know they were only doing their job, but I certainly appreciate the fact that they do their jobs well. Thanks should also be given to the fire and emt crews that came out to the call, who also calmed me down further, started the I.V. and loaded me into the ambulance for the short ride to the hospital.
As for some of the interactions i had with various hospital staff and the insurance companies, well that might be better served in the f.u. thread.

 

How can i not extend huge public thanks to Luke Rook for picking up on my silly artwork and making the Ensorcelled Moloch, just like that. THANKS A MILLION Luke !

 

Thank you Mean Mister T for offering to my kids those wonderful custom (and extra bonus !) for their B-day and entrusting me with a part of sofubi history when we met in Orlando !

Last year I went through a pretty traumatic breakup. It totally reshaped my life (and body) by forcing me to confronting myself, taking a really good look at who I was as a person and deciding that if I didn't make drastic changes I'd end up even worse off.

I started eating better. I started going to the gym more. I went into therapy. I cut people out of my life that weren't good people and allowed those that were more access. I lost seventy pounds, gained some much needed perspective on life, relationships and health and came through the other side happier and more stable than I've ever been.

So. I guess I should thank my friends and family for putting up with me during a transition period that was pretty rough,and my ex for being the terrible person she turned out to be.

Then, since this is SB...
The Standup Guys, Chris, Pus and all of the nerds who bicker, chest puff, snark and complain that make Skull Brain so... umm... fun?

 

Thank you Mikee for introducing me to the wonderful world of vinyl.

Ahhhhhh so this is what a blizzard looks like?! Been in Buffalo since the winter of 2005 and have not seen these historic brutal winter storms I was told about since I've been here. So we are supposed to get three feet with -22 temps and 45 mph winds. Right now we have lake effect snow which is literally white out, can't see much beyond 20 feet or so. Thanks weather gods!
