I was in the store last week and the employee didn’t know what the old monster series was and had virtually no knowledge of sofubi based on our brief conversation. But let’s face it, the sofubi business alone wasn’t going to bring them the success they’ve had. That said it’d be nice if they still held a place for it.
Relegated to a forgotten box in the attic of history . . . having been ousted by shiny new mass-produced fluff!
I looked for it a swear I didn't see it on the site when I posted it, maybe the cry to the heavens was heard lol now just to see a release of new Milton's or othe beloved monsters. Do we have to buy up all the old stock to see new stuff?
Or maybe just a ghost/zombie/robo fighter once or twice a year. I heard the owner of super 7 had a hand in designing those figures ………

I know @brianflynn is always trying to get more ghostfighters made, but I don’t think it’s that easy on the SB side. Too busy making giant astro boys and Mazingers.
And the fact that they could pull the plug on this corner of internet paradise at any time but keep it running is amazing to me. Anyone have any insight as to why it is they/he continue to support this forum? I'm constantly paranoid that the rug could get pulled out from under us.
We all know there are se very big names that still lurk this joint, and we all know they have listened to the most grizzled of us wine. So we can confirm there are internet angels amongst us. There is always hope for a sofubi Renaissance, but I doubt we could start it here...
I feel like this was discussed years ago, but do we have an exit strategy in the event that Super7 is bought out and SB is on the cutting room floor? Reddit or Discord seem like the obvious solutions. Although neither of them would hold a candle to this format.

I have tried and failed like three time to make my brain work with discord. There is a pretty big community related to a podcast I like, but nope, just can't make it make sense. For me it's a lot like a fast food menu where I can't find where the drinks are listed, and I start spinning around on the ground like Homer.
