what a nice and totally different thread; very cool stuff alla ya! Thanks, one more new obsession to pinch pennies for!
Hey all, I recently bought this at a flea market and was wondering if someone knows about these guys, they were made in Japan ( written in the belly ) probably in the 60's/ early 70's. Any help woould be great, thanks!
Koji-I just realized we both have the bunny in t he basket. Is yours hard, or is it soft rubber? Mine is hardened, but feels like it used to squeak.
kist, that's just the kind of awesome shelf I'd be drawn to at someone's house. However, you gotta work on that lighting!
That Monkey mommy is a great score!!! Here's my Birthday haul. The Donkey is big. Love the orange blue spray. The Bunny looks insane. One of my prerequisites in choosing them. The small Elephant was a gift from a friend who found it in Guatemala!
Love these squeakys Paul! I've bought a new shelf to put them all. I just have to setup the lighting to take better shots now!
not vintage but made to look like it reminiscent of Froggy the Gremlin you won't know him unless you are vintage, like me
you are definitely like fine wine! on an on-topic note, the one and only squeaker i purchased was at a flea market, and i didn't realize it was mold infected until i got it home very sad indeed.
My friend has that.. I always thought he made it from a couple halloween toys, but apparently he bought it that way...freaky
Totally agree, that display looks real sweet, the colours sit perfectly together and the clear models on top are the cherry on the cake! Great stuff.
