Thank you, Bo! These are starting to become a favorite of mine to shoot! The marbles are fantastic and Joe's toys are always a ton of fun. I've had quite a few people want Sour Patch candies after seeing this!

Pretty excited for these green blank Twins. There'll also be a painted mini run done by Tan(creator of Mimi Monster), which I'm also looking forward to. Photo ripped from Joe's IG.

 

I thought I'd share this new figure I finished sculpting, the Shinjuku Demon. It's inspired by the Underground Ogre from Demon City Shinjuku. I always knew it as the Spider Demon, but a Japanese friend of mine told me in Japan it's the underground ogre. Anyway, I've always loved the anime that was being made in the late 80s and early 90s. He is going to be about 11cm.

I'm thinking about making more toys at this scale, that are inspired by some of my other favorite monsters and villains from that era of anime.

 

Will the spider legs be jointed or is the bottom half more of a one piece?

Super rad sculpt inspired by such a great anime movie. Very interesting that in Japan he's known as the Undeground Ogre, as I've always known and heard him referred to as the Spider Demon, as well. This is one of those sculpts that can be four inches tall, or 14 inches tall, and would be just as bad ass and creepy either way. Hope to see this in vinyl, then in hand soon!

The Cadaver Kid is large and in charge. I'm hoping to debut this one at NYCC, since NYC is the birthplace of SPLURRT and Cadaver Kid.

Wow, I really like the body proportions. Fits perfectly! How big is this guy?

 

A previous IG post by Joe stated 9". I'm lovin' this. The proportions look just right for an increase in this size, and I can definitely see myself holding this defunct fetus like a sofubi newborn. Congratulations on rebirthing the dead with a new anniversary sculpt, Joe. Love the textures and spinning chest bolt.
