it was, - first order of business is to bring Boba back to life. and I hope they do mix x-men /avengers /FF movies, it will be interesting since Johnny Storm is Cap't America
Oh c'mon, that is an easy one. He is obviously a clone. Just need to add a few 'u's in there, and voila: Jouhnny Stourm. Thanks, Thrawn trilogy. Well played.
Hasn't Ford done this bit before? I could swear I have seen it in a very similar, if not identical, fashion, but this is obviously a recent appearance with the Abrams connection. Could be I am just mis-remembering. Anyway, it is still funny, but I imagine there actually is a ridiculous amount of 'control' being exerted behind-the-scenes to keep everything related to the upcoming projects hush hush.
I actually thought that clip was a bit forced. I like Patton and thought this one was hilarious. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDCjIjsZp_Y And I'm sure the clip is already in this thread but I still love it.
Really? Guess there is no point in PMing to ask why then, but I'll say here I am sorry for any unintentional offense.
Maybe it is just me, but so much of what is captured in these shots says everything about why the original trilogy was amazing, and movies today just don't capture the same feeling. Yes there is the nostalgia aspect, but think about how many of these scenes would never have happened because of CGI effects and bluescreen. Uncovered behind-the-scenes photos of the filming of Empire Strikes Back The whole album is available on Imgur. You really can get a feel and appreciation for the film, from the special effects creations, to the aspect of filming on a full set and outdoors. Not to mention the fun the cast and crew were having. Some of my favourites:
Nice dig, Steve - you've finally found something to unlock my inner fuzzy feelings for these damn movies. Who's Carrie talking to?
Of all the films I've seen in my lifetime...Empire Strikes Back....is one of those films that is just timeless for me. Best film ever? No. But I get this huge nostalgic feeling whenever I think about it. Thanks for the link.

Agree 100%. It's just one of those films I saw as a kid that holds a special place in my heart. Funny thing is I only saw it as a kid in the theater, and then again when it was re-released (in the theater) prior to the new films coming out. I've never seen it on DVD at home. I keep telling myself one day I need to pick them up on DVD but with so many versions out I could never decide what version would NOT ruin my memories.
Harmy's Despecialized. Not exactly a DVD but it is allegedly Blu-Ray quality and very close to the original theatrical version. Out there somewhere in internetland. I've only seen the Harmy's version of "Star Wars" but it is excellent.
Good call, Dean! I had a look at the first two late last year and the delousing of Empire was just as well done as SW.
