Hello guys. So of course I could have done a google search, which I did, on giant robot toys that shoot missiles and such. But I would rather hear it from the horses mouth, what robot toys did or still play with that was your favorite ultimate go to toy? I ask because I'm working on a project for a toy design class and I want to buy a big robot with some features. To be clear, Im not going to kit bash or steal the ideas, I just want something I can hold and use for perspective. The robot I am creating is all planned out and the sculpting stage is coming up soon. My favorite has always been the first Megazord, its what I grew up on, but I never owned one. I have been looking to buy a good condition one, but they end up out of my price range on the bay. With that in mind, vintage might be out of the question. You could pour through the robot sub-forum hidden away in vinatage toys, viewforum.php?f=48 If you want something cheap, you could pick up some Macross exosquad figures. If you don't care about a box or the box being in good shape you can pick them up for pretty cheap. Firing missles, sounds, little spinning discs all types of cool tricks. Plus it's Macross so they look pretty cool.
