I can see that Drodd's is worth multiple visits. Makes my old hands shake just looking at the sheer variety.

Also, I'm well nigh certain that I've never seen a Pink Lady inflatable life buoy or a bulimic Elvis bendy until I visited this thread. So amazing!
i spent a lot of money at drodd. my favorite shop that i visited. they also have an outpost at atmos, in conjuction with Secret Base, one of the photos up there is from that shop. its called "unbreakable 5" . theres also a little espresso bar next to the case filled with vintage and SB stuff.
Kind of like paradise for the true believer. Espresso, toys, travel. Please do not show noodle shop pix. I would cry.

Collecting some of my favourites here. I just love this photo of the craftsman working on the lifesize hero statues and 'rides.' Imagine the memories he has given children (and someadults alike) down through the ages. I could definitely pore over this book of premiums and character toys for a few hours. This image is just about the greatest thing ever. King Zaurus FTW!!! Those are some incredible shelves of toys. Reminds me of @Gojigirl's incredible library. I wonder how the 'curator' manages to find a particular toy, but knowing most of us and toy OCD, they know exactly where most things are. Once again, I am so in love with the documenting of these toy shops Moog, so thank you for sharing them. Drodd's seems like a mecca I could really lose myself in for days. I can completely understand why you spent a fair number of Yen there @michael. Phenomenal walls, shelves, and bins of treasure.And I love the mix of vintage Japanese and western toys. Bonus props for Blackstar! Another question, who is this Dean and how do I make him my best friend?
