Hey Folks - pretty psyched that I'm able to open a small storefront here in Tokyo - and really excited about the first show! Below is the event postcard design - put together by Trutek - who has been casting some REDICULOUSLY awesome rubber and resin figures recently. He will be releasing a bunch if new stuff at this event, as will Nama Niku, hellopike, and Eric Nilla. This show will also feature some resin from Peter Kato, and I'll be releasing a RAMPAGE exclusive version of Blurble's Gusto figure! There will also be A LOT of exclusive vinyl (but that's not part of the show - nor is it resin...) If you are in Tokyo - come by to check it out on January 25th! The space is near Ikebukuro - details will be on my blog. If you aren't inTokyo, things will be online as well -inthe soon-to-be-updated RAMPAGE shop! Psyched!
Yeah Jon! I'm super excited and honored to be a part of your big opening... and you know I'd give my right arm to be there if I could! I'm jealous of everyone who can make it.
Oh, if I could check it out in person... A small storefront in Tokyo sounds very exciting! Congratulations, Jon! I wish success to RAMPAGE Studios event! \ /
I'm really excited for you Jon. Great opening show you have lined up. Look forward to seeing what comes out of Rampage Toys Tokyo. Me and my Dino's approve.
Thanks people! Phil - it's my pleasure to have you on board! I'm personally looking forward to adding another Nikuthulu to my shelf! Connell - thanks man! And GREAT picture! But you are missing the black set! I have one spare if you want it I'm definitely excited to be stocking such awesome stuff to get started. I'll post the full list on my blog next week. So many great folks jumped in to contribute, I feel very very lucky indeed!
Hey guys! The show was great - nice turn out and super awesome stuff from the contributing toy makers! Pics are up on my flickr Next thing is planned for March - Has nothing to do with resin though... However, I will be keeping a nice stock of various peoples' Keshi and resin figures.
I was lucky to get one super awesome piece from the Tokyo Opening: Grumble Toy x Rampage Studios Exclusive Wormrah! Stoked, Jon.
So - exciting news here - May 24th will be the opening of a show featuring the works of Triclops Studios (from over yonder London). The show will focus on Triclops' B.A.S.T.A.R.D.S. series - including keshi-like resin figures and some recent vinyl figures that are produced by Unbox. I'll get the event flyer posted as soon as I have it.
With the way things are, that just might be sarcasm I'll think positive and just say: Thanks Man! Much more soon.
