    Q for vintage micro collectors
    Hey guys,
While in Japan I got to talking to my guys about doing a new mini toy which is a 2-part female pilot styled in the old sentai ranger costumes with the garish colors and helmets.

I then went all over Japan looking everywhere for vintage minis of females that are 2-part hands up style....saw thousands of vintage minis but no females except Jun from Gatchaman.

My toy, FLAMINGO PILOT G.... I really need her to have that look, one hand up, one hand holding her helmet but before I start in earnest I'll need references.
I know I've seen vintage two-parters here of female rangers, pilots, Japanese show villainess' etc but can't think where. Can anyone help me out?
    Thanks

Did you ever find any? There must be other female minis, and one came to mind - the Goranger mini. But she is a hands down figure - scroll down here (this is my friend's collection):

I don't collect minis myself, focusing on the standards and larger. But I am surprised that even so, I can't think of many, and no one else offered any suggestions. Maybe look into other sentai shows, or other Tokusatsu toys. For example, Kagestar has a female hero, but I am not familiar with any minis other than the main one. Perhaps seek this out. Also Ninja Captor has a female, but again, here hands are down:

Another thought is to search for the necklace vinyl minis. All those seem to have hands up, although I don't recall seeing any female ones. But then again, I don't seek these out since I don't collect them.

It just seems that most shows of robots or heroes were dominated by male characters. Maybe some of the more wacky shows, like Time Bokan, although the female mini from that again has hands down:

Anyway, good luck. And let us know if you found any yet, and show us your work in progress!
