@chimply.kaiju Thanks for the text info. The minis were sold blind-bagged, and it sounds like some of them had a winning ticket that could be exchanged for a CD, book or 'outlet sofubi'. If the standards in the back line were one-offs, maybe that Hyouga King was one of those.
New "mushroom kaiju" sculpt by Elegab! It definitely has a different feel than a lot of Elegab's other figures, but I still like it.
The way its' tail is angled, I wonder if that shroom dino can be stood up on its' hind legs and the tail would support it from falling over? I would love to see even more mushrooms added into this sculpt, but I still like it.
Before he added the mushrooms he did have pictures of the sculpt standing up with the tail as support. Definitely an option.
I’d be interested in the entry/selected stats for this weeks Hitogomira lottery. Just wondering what proportion is the USA in previous lotteries since they were exempt.
I'd have to see a few actual color ways to see if I'm going to like it or not. Not sure how I feel on this one atm.
I believe Doug talked to Nari-san about his sales when he visited last and said that many of his lotto wins end up in the USA. I also kinda think that last run was much smaller than usual.
Nari-san had an outlet sale this morning. So many great options and it looks like they sold out immediately.
The toy came out great. Sadly, like many, the funds aren’t there for it Definitely on my list of elegab toys to hunt
The second form Dokuro Taro has been announced (winners should be informed soon) - Dokuro Taro Ikari! This berserker form is great and I hope to win this one! DokuroTaroIkari by Doug Hardy, on Flickr DokuroTaroIkari2 by Doug Hardy, on Flickr This first release will have a resin-cast head blade/boomerang to put in his hand (although you will most likely have to use some putty to keep it in place). No word on if future releases of the Ikari form will have these blades. Nari san said since the blade is cast at home expect them to have some minor imperfections such as air bubbles. His first Elegab toy was a resin cast alien, and I think this is his first time going back to doing any pouring himself since then.
I loved how he was showing all the Danchira's that he has made. This toy is big, hard to have more than one. And I've already got the clear pink one. Can't wait for the mushroom dinosaur to arrive in the mail. I really love that one.
Jura Doubleunga in August-ish?! yt: Not sure why Elegab is not up front more often. If I had monies I'd be all over it still!
