Need to bring this pic to the next page. Yeah I'm loving the red/yellow version more than the original. Will be all over this since I missed the original version, and aftermarket sucked especially for Spectreman himself. What I want to know is what's going on with that last batch?

I think what they are saying is there were some "trial" and error to address with production to maintain integrity to standards of this production. Also announce production has begun Hopefully everything got worked out and the production will commence on these I did wonder, when seeing it if licence issues were attributed, not really sure tho I will ask a friend in Japan if they know what is up.
^^^ I think I'd equate the translated word "trouble" to mean work. Sorta like in trying to translate Spanish at times. Although the word "court" is worrying! Wahoo for new Spectre and Bangs!
Yeah, I initially interpreted it as licensing issues too - which has been such a bane for Spectreman toys in general. And I can't honestly understand why; why should this property be so closely protected over other, much more popular and larger licensed shows? It also seems more unusual, since traditionally, it has more to do with 'exporting' Spectreman, whereas Buta toys are generally not available for international sales anyway. But I would definitely not be surprised if this is related to Oohashi-san's desire for perfection and getting everything up to his standards. Whatever the issue is/was though, let's hope it is easily worked out. Many of us here would be lining up for this new guy, I know.

Full reveals of the three newest figs are very nice. Ragon exceeds expectations without question, and the new Bango colorway is probably my favorite of the three released thus far for that particular sculpt. EDIT: Ragon looks to be on a blue vinyl base...not purple. Which I think is a better choice for the first release of this guy.
So I've seen a new set of 6 Buta dinos out there. Anyone know when/where these came out? I'm thinking they were fairly recent releases.
@akum6n - If you're talking about the release that I'm aware of, it was actually new paints on 9 batches of old vinyl - everybody but "Kong" of the more common sculpts? - and they were exclusive to his shop and, of course, the M-afia.
^^^Hey! Don't leave us in the dark. Please post pics! Were these new dinos revealed in the Buta blog? I don't recall seeing it? By the way, was this Protoceratops one of the nine you are speaking of?

Damn, those are both so lovely. Oohashi-san has really been on a tear lately, but with these Spectrefellas, I am just through the moon. I really want to get my hands on some. And, I have to say, those are some really stunning shots @plasticXO ; even without being a fan of these toys, I would be so impressed just staring at those - wonderful selection of setting and lighting, you've crossed over into the 'art' category!
Am I seeing the right blog entry? Is this the Year of The Rooster? If so it looks like another mini set and a standalone mini that might be Gomess. Sorry if this is incorrect; best that I could figure out.
