Rumors of my death were greatly...well okay, so maybe there was a bit of death going on. The last two weeks I've had a total of one day off and clocked in an extra 30+ hours in 5 days of overtime. That Pikachu is one whipcracking sum-o-I FART A LOT! Anyway, I threw up some photos from NerdQuake '06 on the highly un-intuitive photobucket. The event was a good time and more of a success than what we were hoping for. A big thanks goes out to everyone that helped out and made the trek out! All were in agreement that this will be repeated next year but bigger and better KW
thanks KW for puttin on! Great spinach pies by the way. They went faster than the FC Halloween sets. High 5 is off the hook and it was great meeting all of you. See everyone at the next shindig.
Great pics!Lamour looks alot different than I imagined.Thought he would have greased backed hair, smoking jacket, and a suave mustache!
ON MY GOD - Hi Five and those pics are BLOWING my mind - overload, overload! Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!!!!!!
man,...if you only knew the half of it. You forgot the leather Louis V. slippers sipping some port, reclining on the Eames chair, listening to Nina Simone while I read some Pablo Neruda.
Yeah, supposedly Lev (TT's owner) wasn't all that happy with the skullbee's colorway and nixed it -- that was like two years ago! I loved the yellow eyes, blue top and red bottom. The TT logo would look different now, but still... His setup was beyond words -- carded Flocked Skullbrain / Bee, all of the first off Skullbees, the skullwings...ugh... Then, to add insult to injury, they cranked out some rare stuff that WAS for sale...along with juicing up some BxH figures and some other stuff that had the crowd drooling. Oh yeah, and there was that KAWS Dissected piece for $250 that was damn nice to finally see up close and personal... KW
awesome pictures KW! you got a picture of the two of us from behind! hehe... twas a very good evening indeed, and i'm looking forward to hitting up hi five on the next nyc trip!
