Lulubell got their preorders, but did Grumble get theirs? I sent an email a while back, got no response and I haven't followed up....
The last I checked still nothing. That was a few weeks ago. I'm curious now as it had slipped my mind.
saw the gorilla in Mandarake in Akihabra while I was there. 15000 I thought was kind of high for a new figure especially when you could get vintage for the same price a couple of cases over. I do like the packaging but I'm not entirely sold on the figure itself. Something about it reminds me of the space troopers all over again.
¥15,000 is way over priced IMO. but if it does follow the trooper, at least we know we can grab a bunch of 'em..! I kinda doubt it will go the way of the trooper. I would have hoped we would see pics of the next batch or colorway by now..!
Oh, there'll be more Joe! Pretty sure! Anyone else think the rocket looks like a dildo? Or even a ... ? It's more obvious when you have it in hand (as they say). The tip (shouldn't that be 'top'?) of mine is completely pink, while the veins ... i mean lettering, and the shaft ... sorry, BODY are sprayed gold.
Yeah Alice when I got mine my girl thought it looked like a penis also lol. It also should have had something to keep the figure in place. During transit the face rubbed against the window and got scuffed. As we it marked up the display window :/
Ooooooh, that'd super piss me off...especially considering the price of these things. Good to know. I hope this issue gets fixed for future releases. I'd like to buy one, but not if it's face is gonna be all fucked up.
It's not to bad, but I agree. If I couldn't repair this I would be upset, not that I will but I should have to. It just sort of flops around in the box and is not held in place what so ever. Other than that this is an awesome toy.
Considering how good the packaging looks, you would hope it was just as functional. I deal with this kind of shit almost daily as i work a lot with packaging as a designer, The box itself is pretty standard fare so fixing the toy to the back should not be too difficult. Someone with the means to hit them up should do so.
I find this odd.... the Kaizo Ningen that came in the plastic tube had no fastenings on it, but it was in a baggie to protect it from scuffing, I was hoping the same for the gorilla. Now I'm getting worried on how mine will arrive, I hope he'll have a safe trip during shipping
I can confirm that my blue one got scuffed too, small scuff on the left hand. Paint used doesn't seem to be the most resistant.
