This guy was the result of a fit of inspiration and looking for an excuse to try some really technical work with my airbrush. I painted the inside with red pearl and then clear red, and painted the details from the outside. The burning hot markings and leaking power were finished tinted white lines applied with a razor sharp brush. http://prometheusrising.wordpress.com/2011/05/30/incubot-khorne-infernal-nekosaurus/
Looks good. You need to fade the green a bit more to give it a more glowie effect, same with the runes. I would have left the feet up to about a third of the lower leg unpainted to give it a kind of rising look. Also, a bit tighter on the belt buckle...or is that just a reflection because of the clear coat (along the top half of the belt buckle's overspray).
Thanks for the feedback. You are definitely right that the glow effect is really too harsh still. This was the most I have ever done of it before, and it's something I intend to keep working on. The belt buckle area is a reflection in the gloss. I'm not that sloppy
