Mysterious Apes

Just occurred to me that we never actually posted these guys here in the resin forum. The "mysterious apes" are based on a vintage rubber ape completely re-sculpted by cliff (can you guess the additions?). This guy is a ton of fun to paint and is compatible with our Victim parts, mini-victims and bones.





And here's the first set I did. They're off vacationing in Japan at the moment.

 

Love this character, the last pic paint way all the way to the right yellow with purple is insane !

I like the way this ape sculpt's pose--very dynamic.

Cliff, I haven't gotten a chance to drop the props to you MH doods for this figure. Love it from the beginning.

Cliff bar, I forgot to mention that my favorite thing about the apes is how much they remind me from the opening scene to my favorite movie, 2001. Awesome.

 

Maybe we'll make an obelisk bootleg playset next.
