Oh I totally forgot about that haha. I'd read it so many times but clearly it slipped my mind.

 

Alright. So I’m gonna come thru. Well as long as my attorney Sam Murphy is in (he needs to think about it)! Gonna just take off work and make a day trip out of it, I think. Anybody know if PK has anything in the show?

Edit: I’m dropping back out. Can’t seem to find anyone to drive up with me. Bummer, really thought I was gonna be able to make this for a minute. Hope everyone has a great time!

 

I don't think anyone who doesn't have behind the scene info knows... There hasn't been anything posted to IG.
I know for a fact that some of the artists on the list only have their platforms in the show, this may hold true for PK as well (as in the Guumon painted dualbat).

 

Yeah, I get the feeling it's his platforms, potentially just the Guumon Dualbat as far as fancy toys go.

Pieces of my neighbors siding is all over my front porch, it’s being ripped off due to the wind.

Kind of nervous it will come through one of my front widows. Most likely, fingers crossed, it won’t, but I’d rather be here if it was to happen.

Plus I really can’t afford it.

I also wound up not going because of the weather. High winds, lots of rain, plus some snow made for really shitty conditions.

HOWEVER, I will be in the Bronx tomorrow to get my taxes done and I'm going to try and swing through on my way home. If I do, I'll post some pictures.

Dualbat and Chimera were nice in person but too pricey for me. A wonderful friend (and fellow SB member) actually got first pick and offered to buy for me. And of course, in a room of people chasing after a Zug troll or Chimera, I went with one 3" toy:

Had a great time, scored 3 cool pieces and gf bought one of the bake kujiras. There should be a lot online tomorrow though!

I feel bad for mph. All the trains by me were cancelled so I couldn’t make it. Dumb storm. Hope everybody who went had fun.

 

Agreed. I feel bad I missed this show, if anything, just to show support. Trees were dropping in my area and knocking power out randomly. We lost it for a couple but were fortunate enough to get it back quick.

 

Was it coincidence that everything pictured looks like the Topheroy dude painted it or was 'metallic rainbow vomit' the show's underlying theme?

 

I didn't see much that grabbed me for that reason, though I really love the rainbow vomit look sometimes. Different style preferences aside though, I have to hand it to Guumon. Dude really stepped up to bat with all the paints he put out for this show.

 

Guumon curates this show and this year he painted a lot of the pieces as well. The "oil slick" paint job is sort of his signature style.

As if I didn't buy enough I'm still eyeing the Rampage Toys Beastmaster or Daemon Lord. Have not collected their toys in the past, but they looked really great!

 

Most of that Metallic stuff was painted by Guumon, and that is his signature style.
