Mitch, What Are You?

We have this little wodden guy sitting around the office, everyone just calls him Mitch.


I have no idea what he is or where he is from, does anyone have ANY idea??

 

He looks like a Moai in need of a shave and a haircut.

 

I Googled Maoi and everything earlier but nothing came up. Someone told me he might be some sort of African Fertility God or something like that.

 

I think what it really is is an afro-centric relic of the 70's. That sucker was probably an accessory in someone's "love lounge" along with a crapload of macrame.

 

It looks like carvings done for the tourists in Jamaica.

 

I just wish I knew what they were called or where to get another one. They are so simple // awesome looking.
