Thanks again guys on commenting on the figure. I actually had a meeting in LA this past weekend about making this figure, so resin or vinyl, I still need to talk over it with the guys producing it. There is still things that needs to be fixed, but what we talked about, the arms will be articulated and maybe made out of some vinyl like substance to get that squish feel. I'll keep you guys updated when i get more info. For now, you can see the figure on my blog. Check it out. http://liljapansworld.blogspot.com/
Hey Guys, I just wanted to share what I finished last night for a upcoming show. Hope you guys like it. "Jealousy Revealing"
Hey guys, I'm at the airport getting ready to go back home. So to kill time, I just wanted to share a drawing I did for the board member here, Monkey and Sappy. I hope they will enjoy it. "Fortune Cat with my touch"
Thanks CR. The dimension of the artwork is about 8x10 and framed in a 11x14. Thanks again for looking.
I've always enjoyed the work you do but this piece is just special. Your attention to detail just blows me away. Monkey and Sappy are two lucky customers. This drawing would translate nicely to skin. (hint, hint.) Sorry but I have tattoos on my brain of late.
Hey guys and gals, So I just finished another piece. Again trying to get better with useing color. I am kind of proud with this one. Let me know what you guys think. Also, thanks for all the comments. It really helps. "Untangle" 12x17 Illustration Board Ink Close up Pic
I really love this Future Man. Especially how you signed it "Mirai otoko" or "Future Man" in Kanji. Thats so rad. Post more everyone!!!
There is a display in Portland called Vinyl Killers, and the rule is that all art must be on a recycled/rescued vinyl record. Since I can't really do Chinese/Japanese brush work on vinyl, I tried to improvise. I brushed some designs on paper, and then made stencils out of them. From there, I spray painted them onto the record, and used touches of black acrylic to "fake" india ink. Shhhhhh, don't tell. The title is "Mind Space"
Hiro, that just flat out rules. Here's a gig poster I did, my other favorite subject- the undead. It was nice to draw in a loose style where mistakes didn't matter..
