Are these marbled or were they clear vinyl with paint on the inside? They look like the latter

Milky w/green and blue glitter base. Gold and green sprays. This kumon is nuts! Id like to personally send out a thank you to the community, you have helped my web bloom more than you know. It's tuff to stay focused in this hobbie but not when you have friends and people like you all helping out. I plan on continuing this eight leggeded path throughout the new year and beyond. Much love!

At 100 pieces you'd think more than one would surface somewhere! I've never seen this one before! Gorgeous, gorgeous version.

I think this is the only 1. Im trying to remember but I think I sent this to TAG for an event along with maybe a couple other one offs. It's been a while so things are a little foggy.

Sorry for the delayed responce on this but yes it's from 2014 TAG show and yes it is a one off. Dennis it is so beautiful in hand and I had to pick him up when he came my way. Love the way the muted green sprays accent the green glitter in the milky vinyl. Robert it is a beauty in hand I couldn't quite make the glitter pop the way it does in real life haha

Beautiful spider Eric. I love how the glitter is highlighted on the belly skull, then reversed with paint highlighted on the face. A very pleasing contrast.

Why does every single Kumon have to be so good...it makes collecting these buggers difficult. ;)

Whelp, a quick glance at her ebay page tells us why @malinablue was so quick to defend flipping
Don't let the door hit you on the way out, Cindy.

    Now, for the REAL collectors...

I'm not a flipper. I resent being labeled as such when virtually every single thing I decide to part with, I sell for less - sometimes far less - than I paid for it myself. I have offered many, many things on this site and I always ask either what I paid for it or less than I paid for it, and I inevitably end up taking offers where I lose even more.

I tend to collect too much - it's true - and almost all of it is purchased through proxies and on sites like Mandarake and Yahoo JP, where I pay scalper prices myself. But I have often passed on those things here at a loss.

Rarely do I get anything but criticism when I do. I've had people tell me they were tired of my frequent sales posts (back when they were more frequent). I also often got pleas to hold things, and then people disappear on me and don't respond to messages anymore. I got people quoting me the Japanese retail price on things, as if I was asking too much when I was selling for less than I paid myself, and as if I could have possibly bought it at retail price myself.

So I kind of gave up on listing here. That does not make me in any way a flipper when I try to sell things in other venues where I will actually get sales. I did not buy those kumons to flip. They came in my lucky bag and I don't collect kumons. So I chose to sell them. How does that make me a flipper? Just because I did not offer them here? I kind of DID offer them here: it's too much work for me to post individual pics here of what I have to sell, as first I have to upload them to a website and then link here and that's a pain when you have many. But I HAVE frequently told you all that what I am getting rid of is in my BigCartel shop at more-than-reasonable prices (lower than I paid).

So screw you, if you truly feel you can call me a flipper simply for wanting to sell a few things easily, without grief. (For the record, a flipper buys with the goal of selling and making a profit. I got these as part of a lucky bag with something I wanted desperately, and "loss" best describes all my sales here, not profit.) Most of what I listed on ebay I have been offering here, via my BigCartel shop, for MONTHS. By the way, I had two other kumons, too, because I bought a second lucky bag off a Japanese scalper at an insane price, and I GAVE those two away as a thank-you in a trade to a member here. If he sees this and wants to speak out, I welcome it. If not, you'll just have to take my word for it. But I also don't feel I have to justify myself here. Those whom I've traded with or sold to know I have been generous with trades and sales.

Why don't you all take a look at my BigCartel? If you think I paid those prices for those toys, then you haven't been on Yahoo JP or Mandarake lately. Virtually everything in there represents a loss for me. So please don't throw around the "flipper" label just because you are irritated I didn't offer something to you. So tired of the toy dictatorship mentality. I've met good people here and had great interactions, great trades, and formed friendships, but those of you who act like I sold away my free will by coming here are just annoying as hell.

    TL;DR
If you continue to disregard the obvious definition of a flipper that has been spelled out here ad nauseum, and respond with a multiple paragraph defensive rant, then there is no hope for you. Sorry you impulsively buy and overpay for every toy you see and then immediately regret it...you'll find no sympathy here.
Those kumon are already 300% what you paid and will likely continue to rise - that's what makes you a flipper. duh :?

So a person can sell hundreds of toys for a loss, then make a small profit off two toys she posted on ebay and which she did not purchase intending to sell - and that's a flipper? I dispute that definition. I don't deny I'm happy to make a small profit for once, to mitigate the much larger losses I've incurred, but I am not a flipper. And I did not buy them to sell - they came in a lucky bag which I purchased for another item. Every toy I buy, I do want, at the time I buy it. I don't price things at 300 percent. I almost always sell for less than I paid myself. It's rare when I even break even. I hope some of the people I have traded with and sold to will support me here. If not, I'll be happy to leave the toy dictatorship.

I really don't care about your losses or gains from poor "investment" choices. What I care about it you flipping kumon on ebay for stupid prices. One of which was actually a free gift for the delay in shipping the bags. I'm sorry you are having trouble getting this but your "alternative" definition of flipping is garbage and I'm not really sorry!

Wow... are you really hearing yourself?!?
" I did not buy those kumons to flip. They came in my lucky bag and I don't collect kumons. So I chose to sell them. And I did not buy them to sell"
    And now you're flipping them...
So what the fuck were you going to do with them? Am I on the show Punk'D?!? Is this real life? Are you for fucking real?!?!:?:x:lol::(:?::|

Hey but really, thanks for this complete buffoonery to distract of from the ultimate buffoonery of the past few days. Now go sniff some more glue ;)

You must live a sad and lonely life, as nasty and judgmental as you are. I keep trying to remind myself that it seems to be just you, and not all of Skullbrain, but it's hard to do. There are some great people here and I am glad I found this place and those fellow collectors, but nastiness likes yours does make this board less welcoming. I continue to disagree with your definition of a flipper, but it's a matter of opinion, not fact. I hope you're done now and can just get on with collecting and stop trying to dictate how the rest of us should collect.

I'd have to agree. Sorry that what you choose to collect barely holds its retail value if that. that was your choice. As with a high percentage of tangible goods, they lose value instantly upon purchase. Some can rise in value. While i'm glad you round your collection with both hyped and unhyped toys, its silly to use that as a reason as to why you are flipping. I hate when I hear so called "collectors" for the most part speak about their collection in terms of currency. maybe its best you invest in gold vs molded vinyl. ya know, so you don't have to worry about taking a loss for the most part. I have lost hundreds and thousands in $ i've dished out over the last decade. No one but I made the decisions to spend on spur of the moment items, impulsive buys, or outright overpaying for product. That's my fault. Sometimes I would sell away items I no longer wanted, I either took the loss, or even gave stuff away to those who were actually interested or had these very items on their wants list. part of the community. but like others have said, you'd actually have to be a part of that community to truly understand what it is. Using the board to simply be your buy and sell bazaar is your choice. Comical though, when you want to defend your actions to those who actually contribute to the community. To be frank, this is nothing compared to if you were doing this in 06-08, you would of been ripped to shreds. #Makeskullbraingreatagain

Flipping is a term used primarily in the United States to describe purchasing a revenue-generating asset and quickly reselling (or "flipping") it for profit
