I didn't realize the hands were articulated. I'll check that out when I get home!

 

^^^ That's one of the things that I was first impressed with; they could have gone the cheap route and made 1 pc. arms, but this is way better!

By the way, will these be released in the States? I missed the pre-order...my wife has been nagging me about getting one.

 

This is the first kaws toy I've liked in a while, Can;t really pinpoint why.

I hear ya. I like it but have no idea why, because I generally can't stand Disney crap and unlike the Companion which barely resembles Mickey this looks exactly like Pinocchio. But maybe that's why I like it - it's so well sculpted? But hell if I'm gonna pay over $200 for this.

 

I like it, but $300 retail for a Tweety . . . are you having a fucking laugh!

 

The Tweety being even more expensive than the Pinocchio set is pretty shocking. Not only do you get two figures with the Pinocchio set, but they seem to much more detailed than the pretty bland Tweetys

Let go of my 5YL's last year. Not missing them too much but I'm really digging this piece. If i Had more space i might break down but I'd rather wait for a KAWS X Grape Ape collab- ha!

 

These went up on kawsone.com this morning for $200. Nice price, too bad that when I saw the e-mail, 19 minutes after it was sent, they were already sold out. The Tweety was also up for $180, Black was sold out, but Yellow was still available, although it is now sold out.

There is a 200% Bearbrick still available if your looking for one.

I had no interest whatsoever in the Tweety, but I like the Pinocchio, esp. at $200.

 

don't think i could say no at $200

....but i'm going to pass unless..... well, christmas or b-day present!
