Cheers for the comments all!! The figure is from the set of 3 Invader re-issues from Takara in 1999. This is Invader O, and there is Invader J and Invader Z too. Stand about 12" tall and are soft clear vinyl with glitter. The colour for each invader is sprayed on top of this. The heads are pretty much clear and glitter with little spray. Head can be removed and has a robotic pin head underneath. Original Invaders were something like the Henshin Cyborg toys. Hard plastic etc. As Bryananarchy said, I channeled my aura into Invader O. You can see this being done in pic 1!! Just lit by a torch from behind with time lapse on the camera.
