They are cranking it up several levels before the season finale. So many good scenes, characters that work and great lines. A dark comedy like nothing on teevee. Insane ending to tonight's show. I didn't put two and two together with the early foreshadowing.
i DVR it and watch it during the week. i really like bryan cranston and i always find myself saying "WHATLEY" the morning after i watch haha
Great show! I just finished catching up on a few episodes last night. The last few episodes were kinda slow, but the new one blew me away! Walt looks pretty scary with the bald head.
Late to the party on this one. Just finished the very short 7 episode first season and am totally hooked. It's dark, funny, and hits emotional notes when it needs to. First season is on DVD and also available through Amazon's video on demand service. Check it out!
My wife and I have been watching our DVR'd episodes of this, just finished the last ep. of season 1 last night. You just don't see writing this good on cable much anymore. Very recommended.
One of the best shows on television that I can recall, and I watch a lot of TV. I find myself feeling a lot of sympathy for poor stupid Jesse, even though he deserves all the "blue" shit he receives...poor bastard... Bryan Cranston is a far better actor than I ever gave him credit for on Malcolm in the Middle...he must have enjoyed the paycheck then, is all I can think...
I watched the frist couple episodes of season 2 last night...good stuff! Season 1 is on it's way from Netflix.
I was wondering the same thing. But in the restaurant scene they give you some of the back story. Must be carried over from the first season which I missed. This past Sundays episode was just great, this is becoming my favorite show.
I seem to recall a flashback episode where he and Gretchen are young and seemingly in college together. I think Walt, Gretchen, and her current husband got into business together early on and had a falling out sometime along the way. Walt does have a plaque or something that indicates he was involved in a Nobel prize winning project. I saw the ATM gag coming and the anticipation of it was KILLING me!
Mutha fuckin Bob Odenkirk! Awesome episode. They could've saved them so much if they just killed badger!
Hell yeah, things are really getting out of control. I lost it with the bus stop scene at the end, holly shit ! It was funny , when ever he mentioned that they could just kill badger, Walt just gave that little look.
You guys still following, this show is just written way to good. Sad to know there is only 2 epps left. I knew Jesse would end up in some drug shit , and I KNEW that chick was gonna be trouble.
Yeah, still good, still watching it. Jesse's girlfriend was definitely bad news. Poor Walter, at the end of the show last night, freaking out as he collects his stash. Skylar and the baby calling at exactly the wrong time. Curious how the big deal will go down, especially with so much money involved.
Holy shit. When a show that gets better and better every episode, it makes me wonder how long they can sustain it. Hats off to AMC and Vince Gilligan for setting such a high quality bar. Cranston's range of emotion in that last scene from yesterday's episode blew me away.
I'm pretty happy to know that there is gonna be a season 3 now. There is no way that can tie up all the loose ends in 1 episode.
