Have the guts...to show your love for... SUNGUTS!

This pic is great! There were recently a couple of these guys listed on YJA, one being GID, but the auction went too high for me for how tiny they are.

 

Great idea this thread!! I only have two sunguts but I love this toys!!! BTW if anyone has a green suiko they wanna part with... I could give her a new home!!

 

Does someone know the story behind the toothbrush-hero thing on Camguts ?

 

^^ whoa! I didn't notice that "toothbrush" logo under the feet of my Camguts heroes...

 

I'd really love to see a bunch of the Yokai Sunguts stuff...I don't have any, seems really hard to find, but love it!

Please post some more stuff folks!

 

All the monsters from the series have fruit marked on them. Camguts has the toothbrush... I guess that doesn't really explain anything. ha ha

So that's what it is!! I didn't realise this version was jointed! Cool!

 

Oh boy! I need two or three of these new guys. Especially the Pandaman.

 

Which one are you referring too? It's hard to tell with the tiny picture.

 

Looks like that Superman looking guy uses the head sculpt from the Cosmic Squadron figure.

 

All of these new Sunguts are totally kookie. Wonder how these will be released there are so many?

 

my guess is they're one offs.... all the heads were sculpted by him [not sure about the panda though] for various series using the "sunguts" hero body.

as joeman pointed out, the Cosmic Squadron head is there, the new head for the suiko body is the green plant looking one and 3 of the heads from
the "dogs of space" series are there too. he used the 4th previously [the comet head] at kaiju invades SF, entitled "the last sunguts" i think....
though it looks like you can't keep a good hero down.

 

in my experience, these big figures are usually released at custom shows and trade shows as "The Last Camguts" or "The Last ......" (whatever he decides to call it)
i asked about the whole "The Last" naming thing at that doublepunch show awhile back. i got a spotty translation and essentially came away with the idea that they are all one-offs that he does for shows.

i think sunguts is more passionate about these types of his toys than most of his audience/customer-base.

I've had these guys for I think a couple of years but still love them like the day I first layed my eyes on them

Ah lovely selection you have there Dead, I first saw those ghosts a few years ago but the price was pretty high and I finished up leaving them behind...
not without regreting it just a few days later when someone else picked them up!
