    The shipping is steep, but the retail of $85 is low. $115 total seems about right.

    I'll ask Unbox about doing some sort of bulk US shipping service. This guy is pretty large though and has a surprising amount of separate parts that added to production costs.

    reference shipping: the price is for a faster shipment with tracking, I guess costs from Hong Kong have increased. The other options would actually end up costing the consumer more with lost packages, claims and US distributors adding their fees.

    Erp. I admire your continual dedication, Jeff. As always, many thanks for continuing to share your amazing output with us, on top of all the real world things. A lot of folks who like to moan on here forget that this is a hobby and craft of love for nearly all the makers out there, and isn't about them bringing in any extra money *usually quite the opposite in fact, and they do it out of creativity and appreciation and share their stuff selflessly with the rest of us. For most people, taking on a second 'job' which doesn't have any income involved, but can eat up all of their time, wouldn't be a viable prospect. I think it is just worth a short reminder for folks reading this. These 'artists' are just regular people too. And when people become impatient or complain about this or that aspect of a toy release, it is just worth bearing this in mind.

    Just wanted to say, I bought this toy when it was released and I love it. I've got the green version. In fact buying this made me buy a couple of other Jeff Lamm characters from this sci fi universe. Love em.
