Fuck depression. It has seriously stolen away my life recently. Taking a shower without crying is an accomplishment now. I don't know what in me snapped, but I can't find enjoyment in anything and just count down the hours until bed each day.
Oh, and fuck Effexor. It's poison. The withdrawal is like that of hard drugs, with symptoms that can stretch into the syndromatic. Fuck my psychiatrist for keeping me on it for 10 years, then retiring without warning, too.

 

Poop looks sad because it is digitally dessicating. When poop's water content starts to evaporate, poo gets sad.

 

Pretty much all of the fat acceptance movement. I used to be way bigger in my youth, almost 300 lbs, around 220 now but I still feel like a fat person. It’s not healthy to be overweight, obese, fat, etc. Stop saying it’s ok, it’s fucking not. Some people will accept that they are not healthy and that’s totally fine, live your life. But don’t go around spreading misinformation that’s it’s fine, it’s not. We may be humans but are still animals, if you take an overweight animal to a vet they will tell you it needs a diet.

And all those crazy obese people wearing bikinis and flaunting it, ugh. Wear what you want but stop making a big deal over train wrecks.

 

Because now a days it’s constantly everywhere. You have diabetes treatment on there, being over weight can also lead to diabetes. You should do whatever you want, but there’s also being courteous.

 

If it’s something that someone really cannot control (and they do exist) then they’re not living by excuses and shouldn’t be criticized for it. However I do not have sympathy for anyone who has complete control and acts like their excuses equal someone else’s reasons.

I know that’s a thing, but those aren’t the “influencers” that post on social media. One of those influencers is thinking of suing medical scientists that found that obesity can lead to some forms of cancer.

Most of the women I’ve dated have been chubby, obese, whatever that doesn’t matter. If you are obese by choice or are too lazy to lose the weight that’s fine too, it don’t tell people you are healthy and fine. The real people that aren’t trying to get likes or re blogged or making money off of it somehow, are not enjoying the unhealthy side of it all. I sure as hell I am not, but it sure is hard to try and be healthy when you’ve been obese for most of your life.

 

Agreed, but that’s not even what gets brought up by the community. It’s always just accept. It’s hard to accept when people close to you are hurting themselves by not taking care, even harder when random people say to just accept it no matter what. We wouldn’t accept someone posting a super overweight animal, there would be an uproar over that and it would be called mistreatment.

Don’t know about vegan, had an overweight gf that was vegan before. But it’s a struggle when, as you said, real food is hard to get. I understand the world isn’t supposed to be easy, but it also shouldn’t be made difficult by having garbage food everywhere just to make money.

 

Trying to change patterns that are instilled in who you’ve become , and some of those you can’t even recognize yourself, yeah man, that’s the issues that are hardest to change. I was like that with smoking, starting when I was 9 or 10, so through my most development years, the answer to everything always included smoking. It was an ingrained habit that always felt like part of the right way to go about daily life.

You’re speaking from experience and referencing a specific set. I see. Good for you for overcoming that and getting better control of your health. It’s definitely a sensitive topic tho and I’m glad you clarified. I feel I know you well enough to know you didn’t mean any ill will, but you don’t want people to get the wrong idea since there are those who can’t lose weight but sure wish they could. It must be hellish for them to live in a society like ours...

For me, one of my main handicaps is activity. As in the more I move , the worse I get, where I’ll eventually lose all motor function in my entire left side , from my shut eye and droopy mouth down to my uncontrollable shaky leg and twitching foot (similar to cerebral palsy if you’re familiar). This can also , and does, lead to seizures or my spine just collapsing on me, like a couple weeks ago I lifted my arm and put Nikki in her cage and that was enough for me to fall hard as if a puppeteer cut my strings. I think the last time I seized was last summer, unless any of you remember a more recent time. It happened when I went to a bar for the first time in years and someone touched me on the knee. The reason , aside from the seizures, that I cannot push thru all of that to still attempt to exercise is because like I mentioned about activity being one of my enemies in a very realistic sense is that I only get worse , there is no pushing through and eventually I’ll have a heart attack or stroke from the amount of cortisol, adrenaline, etc. released into my bloodstream due to the pain levels, which truthfully not many, and thankfully so, have to know about or understand . Basically if I cut an appendage off, that sensation would feel better than it does to have intractable full body crps pain at its worst. I don’t encourage you to do look but there are pics online of people who have attempted to cut the “problem “ areas off. I can’t say I haven’t thought about getting my leg amputated, but that’s pain brain talk. It wouldn’t change anything except for then not having a leg. The pain is always there, always bad, of course, and it fluctuates anyway without me having to do anything, so I definitely don’t want to encourage it (thankfully I have better help now so I rarely have to push myself into those situations). You can imagine what that does to your mind and the rest of your body too. Jesus, was it last week that I forgot who I was and would vomit if I ate anything? I think so, which is another thing, I cannot trust my memory, no matter how certain I am. Hence always writing, rarely phone conversation. I’ll need something to refer back to and I’m not going to record phone conversations... Like I had a scratcher lottery ticket in my possession for at least two weeks and I’d check over it repeatedly (since I’m well aware of my comprehension issues now). I would have bet you everything I had that I’d won $80 . As sure as Nikki’s green... she is green isn’t she . I only won $5. Side note: this is why She headless horse has to be sold thru other venues too. I can’t trust myself which is a pretty shitty feeling and problem. Even worse when you realize people have been taking advantage of yoou because of this...

Ha, okay, I’m Sorry, I got lost talking about my stuffs while originally trying to put things into a different perspective. That’s enough of that tho. yeah I’m gonna pay for it too. There’s still more to that that some of you know but whatever it’s not necessary to the point. Egh, I feel silly now but I’ll leave it since I dwrote it. Maybe someone will find it interesting.

K, so I can’t exercise by nature’s will and am predominantly sedentary, so how does someone in bed lose weight? The only way I can burn any energy is by sleeping. I actually found a solution 3 years ago, and it wasn’t an easy change at first, but it gets much better.

In case it helps anyone else, it’s the Glycemic Load Diret. In order to fully grasp it, I highly encourage you to get the book. It’s not really a diet where you’re only meant to do it for a certain period of time, as it is learning to eat in a way where we’re knowledgeable abyout how our bodies absorb food and what types of food are best for that (can’t remember the scientific description right now). Everyone should eat this way really, and once you grasp the concept, it’s so easy to know how to balance things out . I was 330, 6’9” and went to 260, and have been around 280 for the past couple of years because I haven’t been as strict. I think I have a chocolate and cake addiction, but still tho, I have managed not to gain any weight. It comes with knowing how to balance that. But man, if I was like most people and could move around regularly during the day, I’d be losing so much more. I actually started it because it’s recommended for people with reflex sympathetic dystrophy (which is same as crps). The losing weight part has been a very welcomed side effect

Fuuuuck winning a real lottery from a legit toy maker who paints his own wonderful toys only to have it show up a week later smelling like the strongest cigarette smoke soaked toxic tar nicotine bullshit I've ever had the displeasure of inhaling in my entire life.

I am not one to complain about minor scuffs or air bubbles or torn headers or slow shipping or a loose joint because the people who do this stuff deserve some leeway. It's often hand sculpted, hand pulled, hand painted art. But smoking a thousand packs of camels in a locked room full of freshly pulled vinyl is fucking stupid.

 

Obviously there's plenty of toymakers that don't speak English, yet somehow still manage to sell their stuff internationally without feeding the parasites. The funny thing is, he was actually really helpful when I asked about some exclusives that were sold through other channels...

 

Ugh...as a smoker with 6 years being smoke free, this is disgusting. Also, super unfair. how do you get that wretched smell out?

 

I would try sealing the toy in a bag full of baking soda for a month.

Agreed, it is totally annoying.
On the bright side, I bought an Anraku Giant Cambodia off YJA years ago that REEKED of smoke. I let it sit in a corner of my basement for about 6 months and the smell was barely noticeable. Time will dissipate the smell, and there are lots of tips and tricks to get you there faster as well.

 

That must be quite the chore, then trying to wash the soda out of all of the joints and surfaces on the toy.

I’m so sorry for your loss, @kichigai ... and if “sea of trees” alludes to what I think it might, .. I hate that for him (and for you, John). There are a lot of heavy , confusing feelings that you’ve got to be experiencing , I know. There are many of us who are here for you if you need to unload.
