This is my buddies first or second creation to go into fruition. Original was all clay (will post photos of it later), sent off to his caster, and then reproduced in hollow resin. This isn't exactly what I picture when I think of resin in SB members collections, but I thought there was a fair chance that many members here were horror & monster fans enough to enjoy it.

Warning: these shots were taken on the fly w/o a tripod or any sort of remotely ideal lighting - they'll have to do until I can shoot better ones.

I should have the rest of the photos, including the original clay mold, up later today or tomorrow. Hoping to update the thread this weekend. Hope you guys can dig it!

Talented sculptor. What size is this bust?
    Interested to see painted pics.

Pretty cool. I'm not a bust or statue collector, but it looks really nicely done. I'd be interested to know scale and see one painted as well. There's another forum, the clubhouse modeling forums. Lots of model makers and monster garage kit makers there. Your buddy should show this off on there also.

I'm horrible at judging size/dimensions  but it felt pretty similar in size (if not a bit larger) to a Bowen Designs bust. I would call it somewhere around 10-11" in height. I had a long weekend and didn't have time to get the rest of the stuff up yet - but here is his old photo of the original clay Lovecraft bust, which is MUCH bigger than Frank

And a 3D rendition he did of a Creepy Magazine cover for a small local show
