It's that time of the year again. Semi finals tomorrow and the finals on Sat. Check out the link below. Watch the videos. Chose your winner.

As much as I love Dervish, I've gotta root for Israel this year. Drop the bomb......

You can watch all the videos on the web site. No need to download the torrents.

The Israel one is pretty nuts.

The UK's entry is called Scooch and is a faux airline steward group. Very cheesy. And pretty funny when you consider a 'scooch' is what a dog does when he rubs his arse on the floor to remove dregs off poo thats stuck in his hair.

This time last year, well later actually, we had a thread about Lordi winning the contest - it seems to have changed a bit since I moved to LA. Keep me posted!

    Yep, Saturday.

Here's the list of the 10 finalist.

    # 03. Belarus
    # 06. FYR Macedonia
    # 07. Slovenia
    # 08. Hungary
    # 11. Georgia
    # 14. Latvia
    # 17. Serbia
    # 21. Bulgaria
    # 22. Turkey
    # 24. Moldova

Not who I would have voted for, but still, a couple good ones left.

Not sure "Kazikstan" was one of the 42 original participants. If they were, they didn't make it into the semifinal 28.

Now lets hear it for Georgia or Serbia. To bad the chick from Serbia looks like Rosie O'Donnell.

Hey this might be a good time to mention that now I am jobless, I have bitten the bullet and got myself a ticket to visit the homeland in a week or so. So, Ill be based in London between May 20th to June 3rd (that long - Yeah!), and plan to visit a coupel of other places (like Spain or Greece) with all these cheap flights I keep hearing about (any info appreciated), and Sheffield, York and Scarborough.

So, howabout a special NERDQUAKE London edition?

Oh, and Banky, if u r reading this, I took a bunch of Flat Children photos, I just have to loacte em on my hard drive!

definitely up for a london meet....

carl,,think i still have your mobile number from when slayer played at the academy....

will you be staying in london??

as for cheap tickets,,you should really get onto it online now,,,,the deals go pretty quick & i think a lot of the time they are not valid once you try booking without atleast a fortnight notice....

try easyjet,,,ryanair,,,eurostar (for paris or brussels).....

Normally I would agree with you, but this is Eurovision and the whole point is that its cheesy and crap. You also need to watch it with Terry Wogan complaining about the acts and the voting system.

i think it would be unwatchable without terry wogan,,,,he rips the whole thing apart from beginning to end......

imagine watching it somewhere like malta or sweden where the presenters take it seriously.....

Was it me or did the winner look a bit too similar to Little Jimmy Cranky?

Gresat fun though. The performer can't remember the country capped it all for me with his ballad. Average bilge all the wya though then the red stain started to seek though his shirt to show how his heart had been broken. Genuis.

that winning act was terrible...obviously a sympathy vote for serbia,,it being their first time at eurovision...

funny how all the old-school western eu countries got no love,,i almost wanted the uk to end with nil pois!!

russia (russian sugababes)....ukraine (crazy trannie),,,france....and uk's scooch were the best...all the way with the crap-camp-pop i say...

some of those serious goth ballad things were entertaining,,the bleeding heart man was romania or belarus i think.....
