Re: Cyborg Space Barbarian Helmet WIP It's funny. He started off as a total ripoff of a certain type of 40K Space Marine, but is sort of morphing into Optimus Prime dressed up as Magneto. Which is fine with me, actually.

Re: Cyborg Space Barbarian Helmet WIP Whats the scale on the helmat? Also what type of clay are you using?
Re: Cyborg Space Barbarian Helmet WIP The helmet is about an inch tall. It's designed to fit on a vintage Masters of the Universe figure. I'm using Aves Fix-It 2 part epoxy clay.

Re: Cyborg Space Barbarian Helmet WIP The head on the Skelator body looks awesome. It's giving me a Cobra Commander vibe.
Re: Cyborg Space Barbarian Helmet WIP Thanks for the feedback! Sounds like MOTU bodies is the way to go.
Re: Cyborg Space Barbarian Helmet WIP Better teaser pics coming soon. Just wanted to share that this was moving forward.
Re: Cyborg Space Barbarian Helmet WIP Digging it! gives me a megatron feel. can't wait to see the final shots. the glitter body is looking nice.
Re: Cyborg Space Barbarian Helmet WIP Thanks! The heads are going to be reproduced in resin and the bodies are going to be custom painted actual disused vintage MOTU figures that have been rescued from thrift stores, flea markets and the like.

Glitter is looking awesome! I wish I could get my glitter to look that way Mine always settles to the bottom of the mold. Any tips?
These are vintage MOTU bodies with resin heads. So they are painted. For the glitter to not settle you have to use very quick setting resin. Ben's glitter paints make my head spin.
Word. GJMB! is the guy to talk to about suspended glitter technique. I simply use some funky spray techniques on old MOTU bodies. The only resin part on these CSB's are the helmets.
