WOW!!!! That is an unbelievable collection!! I don't even know where to start.

It amazes me how large some of these vintage vinyl figures truly are.

One thing I noticed (because I REALLY want one of these) is that you have 2 Gokaiser Dragon MF vinyls. Is there a difference between them?

Also, what is the name of the two-headed Gomora looking figure?

There's a whole lotta crazy looking figures in there, none moreso than the back row of that last pic. What the heck are those things?

It's an english carded Ran Hoyume, the main character from Ippatsuman. Similar to your Dunbine it's made in Japan on an english card.

They sure do. Most other people grew up on Godzilla and Ultraman, but I grew up with Mazinger Z, Voltes V, Jeeg, Daimos, Danguard Ace, Grandizer....and on and on. The only 2 shows I watched that were non-Super Robots were Battle of the Planets and GoRanger. I do miss my old die-cast toys but I did play the hell out of them, even when they were broken. My ringtones switch from Mazinger Z, Gatchaman, and Voltes V theme songs.

I remember being a little kid and visiting the Phillipines and people were practically rioting in the streets because they outlawed Voltes 5 because it was too violent.
    Those fillipinos are crazy.

Crap...I'm trying to remember, but wasn't the "excuse" that it was too violent? The reality was that the themes of revolution throughout the show weren't sitting well with the gov't?

    Sorry for the thread derail...

Part of banning it was that it was too violent.
Wikipedia: Rumours say that former Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos banned Voltes V from being aired
because it "dumbed down children and took them away from their school work."
    Other rumors were:
-Kids growing up idolizing machines and not people
-Marcos was afraid that people would have ideas of a revolution against Marcos.
It would make for a great thesis for anyone interested :)

If Voltes V wasn't suitable for Marcos, apparently Pat Robertson was okay with it, because they aired it on the Christian Broadcast Network in the 80s.

    Roger, that is crazy!

Does anyone remember Up All Night with Gibert Godfrey? Maybe it was on TBS?
A dubbed live-action Dynaman aired here for a while...
