could those of you sellers who smoke cigarettes or whatever around your toys please say your items for sale come from a smoker's household? i hate getting stinky toys

ugg. I've had that happen to me to. The minute I opened the box it was like a whiff of second hand smoke.

After trying a bunch of times with the current version of Safari I contacted Tech Support for the P.O. and they recommended using Firefox. P.O. doesn't upgrade/support Safari anymore.

Haven't had a problem printing postage since. Also - if you use click-n-ship postage. You don't have to go to the P.O. to ship it. Your postal delivery person can pick it up or you can arrange pick up. OR I just drop it off on the back dock and don't wait in line. Why would you? That's the point of printing your own.

I don't smoke, but I doubt smokers are going to do this as it would be a downer on their sale.

maybe i'm being overly sensitive, but i really consider these smoke tainted things damaged

and i would expect sellers to note if they were selling a damaged item

I don't think you're being unreasonable, I'm just saying that people will be people.

I am a smoker however, I do not smoke in my home due to all the paintings/prints I have, Plush toys, vinyl toys, my animals, furniture ect.
I also have a very expensive wardrobe of suits and ties which I prefer to stay on the fresh unmusty side and during work hours I will not smoke because of what I'm wearing, sounds metro but hey thats the price I pay for being a smoker and having nice things. I advertise my things as "from a smoke free home" because they are. I have bought items that say this as well and the items stink to high heaven. I agree with the statement that the items are in fact damaged due to the smoke and should be advertised as such.

I'm with you 100% on the smoke issue. I haven't had any problems here, but I doubt there is anything that destroys vinyl, particularly clear vinyl, like cigarette smoke. You can get yellowing with UV exposure, but it takes cigarette smoke to get yellowing, stink and a good coating of tar (and probably dust) on top. Blegh.
