There is an up and coming wave of sadness thats about to hit the United States hard. If you're not prepared for it you may not make it. Just wanted to share the information. Get off your phones for awhile.
I'm pretty desensitised to it but I've learned that if I find something offensive, I just walk away and catch my breath.
I don't even buy eggs really. Mayhaps once a year. They aren't stupidly priced by me yet either. Cream cheese is right next to the eggs though, and seems to have tripled in price recently. Am wondering if coffee is about to explode too.
What's the wave of sadness? The political shift? There were plenty of terrible things happening and major economical problems during the Biden presidency as well. In fact it was so bad, Trump was easily reelected. The sadness has been here. Find joy in what you can and spread joy where you can. It's up to us as individuals to do the best we can and not be mentally defeated by things beyond our control.
Some of the most ridiculous shit is happening in the US. Whatever "terrible" things happening under Biden are magnitudes worse now with wanker mcshit face in office.
Especially when one side wants universal healthcare and the other is fine with pardoning insurrectionists that include repeat drunk drivers or child molesters.
It's all happening so fast, we have yet to see the full consequences play out yet. My hope is that they are so incompetent that they won't be able to stay in power forever (as intended) and maybe the country can get a proper reset with a new generation of politicians who have the best interests of the entire country at heart. Ha.
Lots of inference here. I was depressed all of 24 and still am and simply stated the sadness has been here. I’m not here to make a check list of which side is worse: they both fucking suck. Sorry Roger. If you are just starting to feel sad now, consider yourself blessed.
We get it. Your feelings matter and nobody else's do because they're doing it wrong. Please shut up, already.
I just see a lot of people talking about how depressed they are, and I'm curious to see how many of us have been getting it longer than the past month. This goes beyond political ideologies and more into centrist views of torture for pleasure.
I remember going to an army base hitting a local bar and getting 75 cent shots of everclear, nowadays you hit a base and they'll charge you 3x if you dont have the local password.
