Figured some here would get a kick outta this... in-progress piece by Jason Edmiston, to be released as a screenprint at an upcoming Roth-themed show:
I tried combing through Jason's recent posts for a show name or details, to no avail... if I get a chance today, I'll ask him and post here when he answers...
These are reminding me of my contribution to one of the lost moleskins that were being passed around on the board...
That Darth Vader is damn clever. I already dig Roth's pieces, so w' the subject matter provided by other talented artists, yet done in the Big Daddy's style, I can't imagine how fun this is gonna be! One of the only times I've actually Wanted to be in Oregon
Love the gear shifter .... Real similar to the Ed Newton Roth shirts back in the day. Some great detail there.
That does sound familiar, Griz. ... alright, so I went searchin for it, & no dice, BUT remember last years' "The Vader Project"? Well there was this, by David Krys: Aaand stumblin across a REALLY Cool Rat Fink tribute tumblr, I found these: ^ ^ ^ "Star Wars Galaxy", Trading Cards, Illustrated by Brent Engstrom. ^ ^ ^ "Bat Smokes", Water Color Painting, by Mr. Den (Den Ramos). *Bat Smokes is also credited - Kidrobot. Anyone have an answer? ^ ^ ^ "BAD TRIP: Issue #4", Magazine Cover, Illustrated by Devlin Thompson. ^ ^ ^ by Anthony Petrie Aaaand many more. I wonder if he ever knew just how important his influence was & is. Ha, of course he did, & deserves it all. If you want to visit this seemingly never ending Rat Fink Tumblr, just follow the blue : http://fuckyeahratfink.tumblr.com/ And on a separate note, check THIS out Well that was quite the kick-ass web surfin
Yep, you could definitely get my attention with one of those. I almost feel like I've seen one... Mitch? edit: Well, this counts! Found-where else?-in the pages of Garamania. And I think I was thinkin' of Jim Groman's Garaball... ...mashed up in my mind with zapatoloco's sweet driveway cruiser. Both from the utter awesomeness that was GARAMANIACAL! But we digress --- fun preview, Mr. N. Thanks for sharing.

I love Garage kits, really wish they would catch on here in the states. Really wish I had talent to take some plastic and make it awesome like that. NOTE: I do not like tentacle lady garage kits... Or do I?
