I was asked to post a pic of the two different versions of the Barom One bootlegs that I got a little bit ago so I figured I'd make a thread. My all time favorite 'cat-like' versions of Barom One. Same sculpt (no differences that I can tell). Silver-headed version just appears to be the same light green vinyl base for legs and head, with the chest and arms being black vinyl base (the rest painted). The white-headed version is a darker green vinyl base and the actual white head is white vinyl. Feel free to post more bootlegs of Barom One here (same or different bootlegs) I'm just glad I could check these two off at a relatively low cost this past December.
nice, i never knew they were the same sculpts- i used to have a mint white masked one ages ago, and sold it before i got heavy into vintage stuff. a small regret in the sea of toy collecting
Ok, this definitely deserves another scrutiny! Just found it! Thanks Chris for posting these. A very nice set indeed, the yin and yang of pachi Baroms Gotta say that the silver-masked Barom has super flashy green tights.... yow!
