I just peed my pants a little. O.K., a lot.
Awesome, fingers crossed for some GID repros.
Saw it on IG. Must be something pretty good you guys are hiding.
This is like a dream come true, as AM5 are so hard to find and often cracked or missing pieces. I can only hope they are repros of the originals and not "cartoony" looking like the Marusan version.
Just in time for my Birthday.
No, maybe one of those pillows tho
After seeing Jumbo Boba, just one question . . . . Are Funko involved?
nope. All Super7.
More teasers soon!
Really excited that this is a go! I'm hoping for repro Robo Capsule G's: missle firing vinyl and Jumbo Machinder.
This is pretty exciting; I usually don't get too hepped up about anything, but I def feel something stirring. Mebbe it's just the zinc supplements... c'mon, tease us a little!
hmmmm....this could pull me right back in!
The restyled logo makes me think these will not be repros, very curious to see what this is all about.
1 week to go.. teasers gotta be any day now!
minis or class figures?
I was thinking the same. Still VERY anxious to see what's coming!
Besides, it'll probably influence Medicom to do the Repros.
Yes! I was definitely wishing more for minis than the big guys. I am guessing at that price point they must be bigger than the vintage minis?
Can we know who sculpted these? Pretty cool! I'll wait for paint though.
sweet! very true to the original characters. looking forward to painted
Got the email; very exciting! Based on past experience, I might not get to them in time, so congrats to Brian and S7 and congrats to the lucky buyers!
These Astro-Mu are sculpted by whoever the original guy was back in the 1970s, as the molds for these are cast of the original figures. This makes them just a hair smaller than the originals, and just to avoid any sneaky hooplahs, every one of these figures will be distinct from the originals, so that that cannot be passed off as the vintage real mccoy. There will also never be reproductions of the original colors, this project is a labor of love exploring where else the line may have gone......hint, hint....
Fantastic, and thanks for the clarity Josh.
