I noticed the appreciation thread for the Criterion Collection Blu Rays, something that as a Welshman I feel I'm missing out on, but here in the UK we do have Arrow Video who specialise in doing excellent restoration jobs on the kind of movies most wouldn't think deserve them. Here are the few that I have, wondered if anyone else dug the label, too.

The Battle Royale boxed set is beautiful, as are the tins for Zombie Flesh Eaters and Demons 1/2.

I had never heard of it, so huge thanks for sharing. Looking at those sample titles, it definitely is something I'd be interested in. Curious as to what is included in the BR set (looks like there are a ton of extras). Man, I really need to get a new multi-region player.

Checking through the site now, I am just amazed. So many quality movies I haven't watched in ages and others I haven't even seen on DVD. But the thing that strikes me the most is the superb artwork they have chosen. Arrow seems like a great company, I am already making all the imaginary shopping lists in my head.

The BR boxed set is out of this world. Each of the 3 discs has its own little slip casing, then two more to house the mass of essays, artwork, photos, posters etc. Truly impressive.

They don't skip on the extras, either: the Zombie Flesh Eaters disc has taught me more about the genesis of the Italian Zombie and Cannibal genres than I ever thought I'd know.

I bought 'Street Trash' recently. Great version . . . i have'nt watched the extras yet.

They were a bit late for me because i'd already tracked down most of the Uncut 80's horror and Italian Giallo's i wanted on R1 already!

Kim's Video in NYC carries the Arrow titles, and they have a few NTSC/Region free titles in their catalog.

I really want that battle royale set! I love extras on dvds, I'll always pay the extra for them, at one point when dvd was relitively new it seemed like every dvd was packed with extra's I guess to help justify the price, I don't think thats the case any more which sucks.
