got the advent calendar as a birthday gift last night...it's a lot more fun than a calendar full of third rate chocolates (but slightly less tasty).
My wife and I got the lego star wars advent calendar as well and we don't open it until our daughter goes to bed. Haha.
I think they are both droids. Hopefully things will pick up a bit after these two. Haha. EDIT: I found out what they are... Day 3: Nute Gunray's walking mechano chair Day 4: Homing Spider Droid
HAHA I was trying to figure out what the hell it was! thanks for the heads up! My gf yelled at me and didint let me open todays this morning at 1AM. guess ill wait till i get home from work tonight.
i got my son the lego city advent calendar. day 1 was the gold tooth thief dude with a red bandana for around his neck and a winter coat over his jail suit. my son loved it! a few hours after we opened the first door, he snuck back into his room and opened the entire thing! out of sight for 5 minutes and the thing was completely demolished! though my disappointment in our month-long fun activity was blown in one impulsive shot, i really can't blame him. could you imagine being 5 and waiting on those tempting doors? he felt awful for doing it. so i may run out tonight and locate one of the star wars ones for us to work on. this time, though, after we are done with our daily door, i may have to put it up somewhere high, without accessible nooks/notches to promote climbing. i'd hate to have an emergency hospital run over some advent calendar! but we really don't need any droids. my son makes them. constantly. here is one of his million:
I was trying to figure it out as well. The Nute Gunray minifig is much cooler now that he has his robot chair. The homing spider droid is still pretty lame though. Haha.
Hehehe. My son (3) is good, and we didn't have to hide the Playmobil calendar last year, but I'm putting the SW one up on a shelf this time, mostly because his one-year-old sister just seem a bit too interested in that box with flaps that move...
I thought that Gunray's chair was going to be one of these guys... I'm not too familiar with the newer trilogy. Haha.
Yup, nice one! And my fourth mini Slave-1 (I feel ok to spoil since it's late on the East coast...) So that Spider Droid thing... Is it technically a mini vehicle or is it minifig size? Anyone knows?
