I am a goddamn broke-ass student, struggling just to get by and you would go and do a dick think like that?!! Honestly, FFS, someone (or something) needs to give inconsiderate people like that a good f'ing kick in the gut. Who steals someone's food, especially when it is cheap-ass canned and frozen crap? Do you think it's okay because the person is living off filet mignon and truffles on the side? Get your head checked out! You are barely saving yourself any money, and causing someone else a huuuggge disservice. What is this, a crime of laziness? ignorance? I just don't give a shit about anyone else-ness? what? Really that is waht it said. FUCK!!!! Now I have to cancel my card. Dispute this transaction, What a pain in the ass. FUCK YOU!!!!! :evil:

    Bats are pretty darned cool, but like most things in life this is all dependent on quantity. I have never had to deal with them in large numbers outside of a visit to Austin, so for now I remain un-guano-jaded. I have had this issue with pigeons though, and it is trying in the extreme. But to be fair, I already see them as rats with wings, and as much as I love animals, I could do without them.

    Ugh. Yeah, pigeons are the worst. Fuck them.

    The fun thing about bats is you can actually feel them clicking at you. Walking around near them, you can hear their normal banter of little squeaks. But walk up closer or draw their attention and you can physically feel their echo-location clicks bombard you. Trips me out every time.

    Every time I visit the west coast I end up sleeping outside for some or all of the trip. One of my favorite things is watching them circle overhead eating all the bugs that otherwise would be biting the hell out of my juicy, blood-filled self.

    Never had to deal with a guano-pit in my yard, though...

    I'll take any excuse I can to share this video.

    In Austin they've been out in the daytime this summer because the horrible drought has reduced the mosquito population and they have to spend more time hunting food. It's extra sad because the whole colony is mamas and babies.
