Remember, if it doesn't exist in at least three places, you shouldn't consider it backed up.

You are a man after my own heart!

Currently erring on the side of caution with 5 . . . Current Drive (ongoing), automated Time Machine back-up (hourly), Direct copy back-up drive for larger projects (daily), Concealed back-up archive (monthly), Off-site back-up archive (bi annually). . . better safe than sorry! :D

The topics I'm contributing on Sofubiki are in Markdown format. Whenever I edit something on the site, I copy and paste the code into local .md files in a folder on my hard drive. This folder also contains backups of the image files. The folder is backed up to the cloud using Google Drive, and I use Google Takeout to do regular downloads of my Google Drive files, which are copied to two separate hard drives.

Some more flesh on the bones of the Marusan/Bullmark articles, plus some katakana sprinkled throughout. Enjoy. Hoping to get to some more articles on specific figures soon.

You've been busy! :) Thank you for adding the katakana, it's very helpful! :D

Thanks, I appreciate it. More in there today. Hopefully they serve well as pages to have open when you are copying and pasting search terms into YJA and Mandarake.

@The Moog I saw your profile post comment about still not being able to access the site. Just curious, does this link work or do you get the same results?

Unfortunately the same blank white page. I'm not exaggerating when I say its the only site that doesn't work on my phone (so far). Bit odd.

So that page is the wiki for Sofubiki's wiki software. I figured if you could load that and not Sofubiki, then it could have been an issue with Sofubiki's style sheet or hosting setup. If you are not using an up-to-date browser on your phone, consider upgrading. Your browser is your first line of defense against every web-based exploit out there.

Both sites work okay on your desktop browser, though, right?

Yep, I can see the site on my work mac. I'm currently unable to download from the app store because of a security glitch when I changed my service provider, and considering i've had zero problems with anything else, I'm going to consider it my loss for now. Not everyone has a brand new updated browser, I think the site is shooting itself in the foot a bit if its not catering for retro compatibility, surely?. I can't be the only person who's having a problem with it, not everyone has the most up to date shiz.

As far as I know, you are the only person who has reported a problem with viewing the site.

It doesn't necessarily have to be a problem with Wiki.js' backwards compatibility. It could be a bug in your old browser that occurs when rendering all sites based on Wiki.js.

Yeah, you're probably right. Never mind. I will just view it on my Mac for now, its looking good - early days of course but I like the way its set up so far.

I am LOVING these pages! I feel like the community really needs this.
I cannot wait to see how the pages continue to update from y’all. Very curious(obviously with icon) how the T9G page will look in time

I’m not exactly sure what is and isn’t fully functioning on the site yet. If I’m to go into, say, Bounty Hunter or Headlock Studio I can click on “View All Releases”, but it’s just a small list of some figures. Are there supposed to be images accompanying each name, or is that what’s to come over time? Just makin’ sure somethin’ isn’t improper with my mobile browsing!

Thank you for the kind words! Sorry to hear you still can't access the site on your mobile. I'll look into this for you.

That's great to hear! Always open to feedback if you have any!

Absolutely correct! Those releases are on their way – the final aim is to have all release pages set up likewise to what @Roger has been working on (i.e. a release list with links to dedicated pages full of info and images for each release). I'll be un-publishing some of those WIP pages to tidy things up a little in the meantime :)

Hey guys, it’s been short and sweet but unfortunately I’ve had to close up Sofubiki.

It was getting harder and harder to give the site the attention it deserved and make it the resource I hoped it’d be due to lots of reasons. Thank you for the support and all of your contributions and I’m sorry it didn’t work out. The site is safely backed up, should we relaunch in the future.

    Thanks again

found this wiki about Pachimon, not sure where to post, delete if neccessary.

Pachimon (パチモン Pachimon) is a vintage series of budget bromide trading cards made by the Japanese companies Yokopro (ヨコプロ Yokopuro) and Yamapro (ヤマプロ) featuring unauthorized alterations of pre-existing kaiju collaged with other photographic elements. The term Pachimon itself is a fan-created moniker roughly reading as 'stolen monsters'.
