@taviq He's actually posted that and more on the last two lotteries, and I think it’s great. One of the lotto posts said he’d straight up block you if you b¡tched about not winning. I get the frustration, I’ve moved on from a handful of artists, but some people just get a little *too* pissed. He’s also stated that he doesn’t accept entries from private pages.

I think that's great. People definitely get too pissed about not winning. I assume most artists would ban the sore losers. I know I would. Patience is a must in the toy game.

I will never understand the logic of bitching on an artists page. Seems like a perfect way to never be selected at all. I take a similar approach, I just move on if I feel like I don't have a snowballs chance. Why torture myself if it's not fun.

Checking daily for news on this guy... crazy 'bout him. First Headlock piece I will actually try for. The preview pic hit at a time when I had just been wondering why I don't have a single werewolf/wolfman toy in my collection, as that was my first monster love, as a kid.

I agree, this and the Creature are so well sculpted. Very clean and full of little details without feeling overdone like a lot of new sculpts these days

Very classy drop, courtesy of the fine gentleman at Headlock Studio x Creature Bazaar! The Oculus Beatnik head works so well with the suited body! The top hat doesn’t sit quite as well because of the eyeball veins, but that’s really not of consequence. The brown suit makes me think high end bars and expensive whiskeys and scotch and shit.

Just got my first Headlock win, the open-mouthed Tibeo (sorry for the recycled picture, I'm lazy)!

What an absolute joy of a toy. It would be great to find his closed mouth brother one day to match them up!

I did have a friend who won and his came with a snapped off tail, but Ken took care of him. He is a real class act that wants to just bring a simple joy to a bunch of people, and you gotta respect that when he knows he could just tap people like an ATM now if he wanted.

Ken is easily one of the most stand up producers in toys, and his attitude reflects simply wanting to do fun toys, and for collectors to have fun with ‘em. I respect the man a bunch and what I deem to be his principles. And speaking of fun, the open mouth Tibeo made its way to me yesterday. Just about the same as a standard, original release Tibeo, only the “smile” brings a whole different dynamic with its facial expression. Tibeo just looks so damn happy to see you! I like this more muted, lightly brown tinted orange of the “fur”, too. :o

Congrats to the folks who got the newest Tibeo. I entered and was hoping it’d be my first from headlock (I’ve tried for a couple others with no luck) because we had just adopted a kitten with a similar tan tabby coloring to that open mouth version a week or so prior... I was hoping for a serendipitous lotto win, but I’ll be happy with just the new kitten. Lol.

I really gotta give it to everyone that catches the lottos. I’ve missed them almost all which puts my win/loss ratio in good standing but it doesn’t have a good curve, ha!

grats to the winners. I have the salt shaker and it is a lot of fun to use

Masato - San is a tattooer local to Headlock’s home in Nagoya, Japan, though it is unknown to me at the moment what shop he tattoos out of. Even still, he is also a chopper enthusiast, and both the artistry and motorcycle fanaticism tie in nicely with his relationship to Knuckle and Headlock Studio. Hence Masato Kun!!! An entirely brand new entry into the Kustom Monsters line, Masato Kun dons new hair, face, jean vest torso, biker jeans/belt, strapped boots and sleeveless arms. He’s much more heavily tattooed than the figure suggests, but that didn’t stop Ken from adding a little true - to - life flavor with the two tattoos on each arm, and the actual stars on both sides of his forehead. The back of the vest showcases Masato’s logo (Support Local C.T.M.(Cool Tattooing Masato) Crew. I’m really liking that Ken is not only introducing a slew of original characters, but that he’s also creating vinyl renditions of real life people(friends/artists), including himself, all locally based and known out of Nagoya. The local pride is fantastic. There’s also a jean jacket version that’s essentially the WOLF TEETH body with Masato Kun’s head that’s yet to be released in the states, but is slated for Creature Bazaar.

And this here is G.Cue. He’s a hip hop artist, once more, based out of Nagoya, Japan.

@gatiio I’m actually missing quite a few between several full size, a couple handfuls of minis and the all black Tibeo. Far from complaining, as I’ve come across quite a bit of luck for which I’m grateful for! But this is one of those few toy lines that I wouldn’t mind being totally complete on, alongside Secret Base Obake Dogs and Secretoy Cinema Monsters. With the aftermarket being what it is though, especially right now, I don’t see myself tracking any missing pieces down for some odd years down the line. 8) And you’re very welcome for the sharing. Thank you for appreciating it!!! I thoroughly enjoy the whole “archival” participation of these boards from each and every member with what they collect!

Just ripped these from G.Cue’s Instagram. It’s Ken and Knuckle’s rendition of Cue himself, complete with sleepy eyes, mustache and signature セックス hand gesture. I can also appreciate the hanging belt out of the loop. Popular aesthetic from when I grew up. I’m sure we’ll see some tattoos printed onto this one, as well. Lookin’ forward to a painted version, of course. I hope Ken decides to call it The Chosen One.
